How should I learn to play killer
I recently got back into the game to play with friends a week before the new mmr update. I am rank 10 on survivor and currently get placed in somewhat evenly matchmade games (atleast on swf) although its still kinda bad but as killer I am rank 16/17 and I am exclusively matched with red and purple ranks. I consistently lose at this point and get looped for half the game. I bought the pig because she seemed fun and have had more success than with other killers although it is still unfun. I genuinely really want to get better at killer but I dont feel like I can with this matchmaking. Would throwing games make me more likely to be evenly matched?
I might just quit the game entirely for a while if i cannot make these games less painful

Sorry you have to deal with this mate. My best recommendation is to look up guides, they'll give you strategies for stuff, along with telling you good builds and weaknesses. Hopefully your mmr will even out eventually.

You cant, Behaviour has seen to it that new players are punished for buying their game by perpetually setting them up against toxic red rank dinosaurs who have been here since release.

It's going to take a while for the MMR to settle and put everyone where they should be. Just try to focus more on the Archives missions instead for now.

The matchmaking is so messed up your going to go up against unfairly and overly skilled survivors.
In my opinion your best bet is to use the dbd forums or on xbox we have a club where you can make a post looking for other players, and try and find a custom game with other new players so everybody can have fun.
