From what I gathered from the comments, the Huntress's hatchet hit boxes were unintentionally or wilfully changed to be smaller, so it became nearly impossible to land a hit with them. So, they changed it back. Since the change was not in the patch notes, I am going to assume the change was accidental, and they went back and made them work the way they are supposed to.

They said something in the stream about an exploit that made it possible to throw hatchets through walls. They "fixed" that by changing the spawn of the hatchets but broke the hitbox. 
Now they reverted it.

That was fixed months ago bro.... and also it was intentional that's why it's a reversion not a fix.

It was fixed in 2.0.0 go check the patch notes.
