i heard about it but was not sure...
i watched some streams today and heard about a "new?" hack popping up right now. Those survivors cant get hooked and in if i try i complete get bugged out (shiftig from left to right infront of the hook). Usually those run No Mither aswell because of it.
(And no, ping was fine)
Im the only one who encounter those kind of survivors?

You say you heard about it but then indicate you encountered it. I'm assuming you ran into it and then searched and found a video on it. Could you link the video here please.

I think hes talking about this lag...bug...i dunno what where survivors can prevent you to hook them by stunning you in front of the hook as they wiggle out, i would call that lag switching cause often when it happened to me the survivor got DCed right after it

No apologies needed XO I was trying to get a clearer picture in my head is all.
The only weird thing I ran into once was a killer tried to hook me -he tried 4 times but for some reason thee was a pause of sorts and when he finally hooked me - visually I was like 4 feet behind the hook. When my teammate unhooked me it was such an odd visual as they were in front of the hook but I was way behind it. It was like invisible lifting lol.
I've never had what you are describing though. It almost sounds like a weird lag issue somewhere.
BTW off topic: I am very fond of your name. When I first started out in computers a million years ago - I accidentally end up on a BB board, I probably shouldn't have been on, and ran into a hacker named Biohazard who taught me a lot about programming and computers. Excellent memories.

Yeah. Ive seen it on xbox. Hacking an xbox is nearly impossible. But lag switching is not

Oh I thought it was people abusing VPNs to get such a bad connection the killer couldnt hook them, pick them up or the like. Have experienced it myself only once but just basically dedicated 4 clips to that experience and calling them "######### my life".

i thought at lag-switching aswell but it was so weird because even if he lags out the hooking-animation should not affected by it.
and i tried /downed him 3 times but could not manage to hook him once.

That makes sense. It would cause that kind of stuttering.
I hope they don't run into the wrong person while using it - they'll regret it really quickly lol.
I'm surprised people use them in this game and kinda surprised as many people still use that as they do.
