Does stridor cancel iron will and if so why?
Firstly just going by numbers that makes no sense because iron will reduces the sounds of pain by 100% but then stridor increases pain by 50% and breathing by 25% which should still be 0% sound so why is stridor working while iron will is active?? Its especially dumb when its a perk suggested by many to counter killers in general but mainly spirit but if they equip stridor then your counter gets countered. Unless its just a bug in which case i guess fix pls but if not would like to know the reasoning behind this working as it seems.

100% - 100% = 0%
0% + 50% = 50%
Congratulations your Iron Will 3 got downgraded to Iron Will 1 by the powers of math.

Stridor cuts iron will in half, so basically you have a tier 1 iron will active when injured

mmm that's pretty wack, but i guess fair though not really. Just a ######### compromise.

OP question is legitimate, because with percentages the result is 0.
So then why does stridor works like that ? They say % in all perks descriptions but the mechanics are based on points.
In this case you start with 100 pts of noise, IW reduces by 100 pts and Stridor increases by 50 pts, so you end with 50 pts of noise. That's basic maths but not basic percentages.

That's what I was thinking because if my sound is reduced by 100% 50% and 25% of 0% is still 0%. Now if stridor is applied first then it makes more sense on why I make sound. But the perk should really work as it says instead of adding points to things.

its as @Golden_spider says.
in DbD percentages are values that are added and substracted from one another.
your base whimmering when injured is plays at 100% audio volume. Iron Will reduces this by 100%, therefore its now 0% and you can not be heard.
Stridor however increases this value by 50%, therefore your audio while injured now plays at 150% volume. If you add Iron Will to this you get 100% of that taken away, which leaves you with a total of 50% of the normal audio volume.
so Iron Will isnt taking 100% of the final volume away (which would mean that it would always silence a survivor), instead it reduces the original value by 100% which leaves the 50% given to you by Stridor (and it works the other way around, stridor adds 50% of the original volume, not 50% of the current one, which with IW would again be 0%)
