Will we ever see a massive overhaul update?
There really is no massive difference from now and 4 years ago. Changes to maps, perks, and loops give the impact to keep it interesting but for me at least it seems that the game gets "dry" and boring about a month after a new chapter release.
So I can't help but think if Dbd is ever going to get an exciting milestone update?

I mean if they brought back events it would do some kind of placeholder, but they replaced that with a time gated battlepass who's only rewarding people paying/grinding the heck out of the game.
Right now we would have had the Scorched BBQ event and well, I suppose like the Christmas one, is gone to oblivion.

I was just thinking the other day "when will Scorched BBQ come back?" but you reminded me of the cold reality T-T

Very unlikely. The devs have been severely out of touch with their community since this year started.

Likely not. You can't make money from overhauling your game to improve the games health.

You can... just not a lot (but I think that's the point)

They could... if they weren't so dead set on putting so much of their resources in the cosmetic team (beautiful cosmetics most of the time though) and the development of new DLCs for every 3 months.

This is BHVR. It's more than fair to make assumptions based on their track record. There's no reason not to be cynical with BHVR.
As for the "graphic" overhaul - that's not a game overhaul. That's visual assets only.
Which was probably the last thing in the game that needed overhauling.

How so? They did changes to basically every single update based on community feedback

Feedback, and backlash, while similar, are not the same thing.

They go hand to hand.

Hand in hand =! the same thing. As I said, they are similar.
There's feedback, like all the stuff that gets reported in PTBs that makes it through to the final game and doesn't get fixed for months (or in the case of sounds, years). Then there's backlash, where a HUGE majority of the community came together and said "he idiots, leave Billy alone", making them backtrack on the huge nerfs for Billy, rendering his base kit basically the same as it was pre-nerf.

But they also made changes regarding "feedback"
Doctor got his stun after shock reduced from 3 seconds to 1.5 seconds, one unchecked infinite got fixed in the god loop patch, 2 of PHs perks got buffed and they made it so his cages were not as bad for tunneling and camping and most recently the perks, add-ons and powers of bubba and billy got changed and further tweaked based on community feedback.

You're arguing semantics here.
If you took a list of stuff they fixed because of "feedback" and stacked it against all the ######### they don't fix, there wouldn't even be a comparison.
