Great idea to fix Haddonfield and big fences
Big fences and big walls are of course designed for a purpose, and that is not to make every map feel the same. However everyone knows why Haddonfield is so broken, and here's my Idea: looking at a fence, you have the option to slowly vault to the other side. So even if it is like a vault it takes like 2,5/3 seconds, so unless it's like a really big wall it's better not to do it during a normal chase. This would solve a lot of problems, and make Haddonfield and big fences not so oppressing anymore

Or, the alternative idea - fix the map so you don't need things like this.

Better, but at least a good temporary solution

Put up 3 breakable walls on a long fence!!! - some dev

You're talking about implementing a completely new mechanic. Again - wouldn't it just be easier to fix the map? It would be faster, too.

New mechanic, but unworthy 90% of the times for the killer

make the fences out of breakable walls

Or just make it impossible for spawn logic to do it

This is even better

I mean the breakable walls sure are a neat solution for haddonfield.

Yeah

The thing about haddonfield is the displacement between you and the survivor is much much smaller than the distance you need to take to reach them.

Now I genuinely want them to do this just so you could take hillbilly with lopro chains and destroy them all one after the other

The map just needs a rework imo
Like, a full on rework

While I don't mind a neighborhood as a backdrop I'd like a more smaller densely packed map with detailed houses and slightly bigger yards. For fences there could be things like a car crashed through them to make them open or a fence under construction.
Haddonfield is one of the few maps where the age is clearly shown. Needs a total rework and the variations should be more than what the preschool map did. Each variation should have a unique tile to actually do it justice.
