I'd love to see Jack Torrance as a killer. If you check out the mask from Halloween Horror Nights, Jack has a creepy face. I guess Wendy as a survivor too would be neat.
I'd even go as far as to say Doctor Sleep too, with Danny as a survivor and Rose the Hat as a killer.

No, there are so much better options for a Stephen King chapter. Dark tower, IT etc.

I think the map would be absolutely amazing, easily my favorite part! Despite that, I know Jack is iconic and all but, I may be remembering this incorrectly, isn't he just a completely normal guy who cracked? I don't know, just seems a tad bit boring to me. If it gets added one day though, I'll have no complaints. :)

Honestly it seems a bit boring, the não would be Amazon but Jack is Just a normal guy with an axe, legion and trapper at least wear masks.

The hotel and hedge maze as the map would be awesome. Jack as a killer would be kind of meh though.

Jack in the book and Jack in the movie are very different. It’s WHAT makes Jack lose touch that would be fun to develop. The map would have the potential to be astounding.

2) Buffy the vampire slayer (Killer: The Master). TV show only

Yes, yes, yes, and yes. The Shining is probably my favorite Stephen King property and honestly I'd prefer a Shining chapter over an It chapter every single time. Jack Torrance as a killer and the Overlook as a map are two of my most wanted things for DBD.

I think the either the hedge maze or Overlook would be amazing.
I will be honest, the maps that would come out of stephen king's works would be amazing. Derry Sewer, Carrie's High School, The Cemetary from Pet Sematary, The Dark Tower, and others.
Killers on the other hand are very limited. You have Annie Wilkes, Jack Torrence, the Little Kid that Comes back to life, but they are normal. You also have Carrie, Pennywise, and Randal Flagg who could be good.
Survivors are fairly normal too. Roland DeChain would be the only iconic one besides Bill from It.
