Editing config files

I have seen some people edit their files at AppData/Local/DeadByDaylight/Saved/Config/WindowsNoEditor to increase game performance. Is it allowed?

  We do not advise altering any of your files, this can trigger an EAC ban and we will not be able to unban you.

  Therefore anything you alter is done purely at your own risk
