I have 75 hours in game, since the patch nonstop put against 1000+ hour red ranks
This is ######### miserable. I have owned the game since the Steam summer sale, roughly a month. I have about 70 hours in-game. Ever since this new patch, all I get are red ranking killers, I get absolutely outplayed at every turn (######### duh, I am brand new) and I am having a miserable time, ready to just quit playing.
I get Nurses, Spirits, Huntress, Hillbillies and Doctors. I obviously can't outmaneuver such experienced players, I can't get a ######### thing done in any match, and every time I think I will finally de-rank to where I SHOULD be, I get a string of 3-5 easy matches thrown at me that keep me right in Rank 8-9, so I consistently get ######### in the ass by very experienced players. I literally had a match against TrueTalent yesterday, one of the best killers in the ######### scene with thousands of hours in the game. How the ######### does that happen when I literally just bought the game 4 goddamn weeks ago?
Who balances this thing, how are new players supposed to keep your game audience growing if you just absolutely punish them for playing?

Yeah... I'm not trying to be mean but you seriously have to deal with it. This matchmaking is the worst in any game I've ever seen. It might get better with mmr... but we've been dealing with garbage matchmaking for years and I don't think its gonna stop now...

Its been nearly a week of this now. We're all sick of it. Either getting baby killers, baby team mates, or baby survivors in your lobby as a high rank killer. Its no fun for anyone.

That is the problem with the new matchmaking update...If you main survivor you should try playing killer and try to get people with not so many hours in the game so you can pratice , watch tutorials if you want to be experienced and I suggest taking a break from this game ( I've also took a break because of this new update). I guess they are still working on it to make it better since they get so many complains so maybe you might enjoy the game after if they ever fix it .

I see the opposite. I get a red rank 1 killer where I'm the highest rank at 8 everyone else is in the teens. I'm rank 4 killer, all I get are sweaty as ######### rank 1 SWFs. Neither is fun.

Crearly this MM change is one of the worst the have done so far. I feel sorry too for the new players that gets in my lobby while I have 2k hours in the game.
As survivor is also very weird, sometimes i get faced againts the best and sometimes the worst killers. Im rank 1 in both.

Honestly, no matter how much i like this game.... I could never ever ever advice it to anyone. I have 2 friends hesitating and I just tell them to play something else. Two main reasons : the matchmaking is not broken.... It's far beyond that, its shattered in a million pieces on the ground.... And the grind. Can you imagine someone starting now? All the stuff to unlock, with around 20 killers and even more survivors?
My advice? Get a refund, go play fall guy wich is.... Actually what I've been doing lately

I’ve quit playing survivor since the change. Everytime I get on I get sweaty Rank 1 killers who slug at 5 gens. I’m not good enough to deal with that lol. It is miserable. I’ve been enjoying killer tbh

Yeah dude I have the same issue I bought the game in the steam summer sale too and I have about 25 hours on the game I am a rank 16 killer and a rank 18 survivor (I dont play that much and you can guess why). After the changes to the MM I have been getting some seriosly bad games and its not getting any better(here is proof).I just hope they like revert this or fix this change because I am sick of getting infinitly looped by rank 1 survivors
(also this was my first time playing the cannibal I normally play huntress only)
