Can we all agree that Shrine of secrets should be reworked as it's just outdated.

There are too many perks in game so waiting for the ones you lack can take years.
Rotation is unpredictable and calling this "thing" a solution to Pay to Win dillemma in this game is just a joke.
I feel really bad for newcomers who instantly face the "buy DLC if you want to be successful" problem.
Crucial perks (Windows of opportunity&Zanshin Tactics which apparently are perks for beginners are locked behind a paywall or a huge grind. Meta perks like DS or BBQ are locked behind paywall) are either locked behind a paywall and grind or behind a horrible random rotation in shrine of secrects, so even obtaining 2000 shards necessary for buying a teachable, you won't be seeing it in shrine for months or even years.
How much have BBQ or Ruin appeared in shrine in the 3 year span? 2 times? 4 times?
Shrine of Secrets should've been reworked long ago.
From 4 perks weekly to a "shop" where you can spend shards for teachable perks that are available there the whole time and bloodpoints (f/e/ old 2000 into 150k). Prices could be increased (from 2000 to 3000 f/e/) to justifices availability of all perks, but the "random rotation" aspect must be gone.

Then there would be no need to buy any DLC at all, you could just level up and get everything for free or get a 150k bloodpoints without actually playing the game. I'd rather it this way so that DLC is relatively cheap and people actually know the perks they're actually buying than just buying ones that are "good for noobs".

It's been outdated for years.
Except the exact purpose of the Shrine is not force players to buy new content. Not to mention that there are so many perks in the game that the amount of grind it takes to get Shards to buy so many is more than enough to encourage players to just buy DLC anyway.
There's no excuse for how laughably out-of-date they've let the Shrine become.

I made a post about this a while back, some people agreed, some people didnt (mostly the ones who bought all the dlcs and have all the perks), im a student and im really short with money (rent+food for a month is more than 80% of my money that i make working a part time job, 7 euros it doesnt seem such a big deal for a dlc, but for me is.. I rather eat today or stay hungry for a couple of days just for buying a dlc.

Wouldn't it be better to have a dedicated page to all the various teachable perks in the game and then let us buy any of them, at any time, for an increased Iridescent Shard cost?

Just make it another storefront where you can buy any perk using Shards or Cells. Older perks cost less, newer perks cost more, and anything that is less than X months old can't be obtained from the Shrine.

I could understand if you had to wait fixed time. Like there was a "schedule" of perks released on shrine and they are cycling through it in the coarse of a few months. That would make perfect sense then. You know when to expect the perk to show up and you wait. The situation is entirely ######### different when NOBODY has even the SLIGHTEST clue when each perk is going to be on shrine. The are freaking random.

"You're lucky". You know, this time is one of the rare times I get into genuine revulsion. Congrats, you've actually made me feel hate, although "hate" is a bit strong word. "disgust" is better.
Also, what "most" games? Chineese games? I feel sorry for you if you think it's okay for games to be P2W or that Chineese games are a standart of games for you.
CSGO, Valorant, Overwatch, ApexLegends and other games like that have NO P2W at ALL. All gameplay affecting content can be FARMED there in a FIXED amount of time (and, what a surpised, that doesn't take eternity). DbD on the other hand, not only has P2W content, but it also FORCES you to buy it, because you are left in disadvantage if you don't.

Yes. As long as you level them up. Doing so is "time consuming" so just buying cells to get them is essential paying to essentially win. The reworking of the shrine oughta to be truly rng not just devs restocking at their whim based on the rift and who's on the path

Not really. Two identical Survivors with identical loadouts. One grinded the whole thing out, the other sped things up with cells. What is the difference between the two if they get into the same trial?

That's just it. One paid their way to getting those perks as the other one worked for it through playing the game. Paying for them just makes it easy for them to getting perks that are essential. Considering characters are just skins of themselves. The perks are what matters.

How does that make a difference in the trial if they are both identical? What makes the person who used cells to expedite the process more likely to "win" in the trial than the person who did all the grinding?

What if devs made some new items, perks, and offerings exclusive to the shrine. Like it should only be attained at the shrine of secrets. They should also increase iri shards from devotion and leveling up. They should change the exclusive items rarity and cost, as well as the time it’s available.

It's not pay to win though. Just because you don't want to wait doesn't mean it's suddenly pay to win. If you can't afford or refuse to pay for the DLC, you're welcome to wait. It's completely free.
