Why do people want a FNAF chapter
Every where I go i see always someone say "where is springtrap" and "why don't we have him" I don't like this FNAF idea because springtrap would have no power or things to hit survivors with, FNAF just doesn't fit into the world of dbd and that character would kill the game

Silent hill was the first video game license for dead by daylight which opened up the possibility of other video games finding their way into this game. FNAF is the one that blew up.

People want FNAF because people like FNAF. Its as simple as that.

Yeah but why, the story of FNAF is bad in my opinion and what would even be his power l. It just doesn't make any sense

It's a horror game, and this game implements iconic characters from other horror games (and media). While I don't want FNAF in game necessarily, I can see the appeal. FNAF has an aesthetic that is, in recent games I've seen, cute and clean on the outside but progresses to be worse (?) I think? I don't know the game that well. I stopped following it after FNAF II (Whichever game that was, all I know is it followed the original). But I really do like the whole plastic animatronic horror aesthetic. I could see DBD working with it. I know I definitely never would've asked for Silent Hill, but it's not bad so I say that FNAF wouldn't be the end of the world, either.

I wouldn't ask for ph either but I didn't freak out when he came out, but I think FNAF lore is kinda sillly story and plot, all it does is jump scares and isn't scary

memes mostly.
maybe rule 34 for the occasional oddball but we dont go there at least not here :)

People want what people like and they don't care to put much thought in after that. They see DbD as a melting pot of horror and don't really seem to understand that it's a slasher game that needs slasher killers.
2 -
In all fairness, the original FNAF was a pretty iconic thing and it was silly, sure. But that's also half of the horror genre. Iconic characters in a silly, semi-logical or not at all logical setting.

What about Bill from Left 4 Dead?
I suppose you're right if you are only referring to killers but Bill has been in DBD for a while.
3 -
You're right. I missed that.

One man's trash is another man's treasure. While I myself am not a FNAF fan I could respect the addition and would be kind of hyped actually. While the game has opened up to other horror game collabs there isn't a crazy amount of decent ones or iconic ones to add. Again, FNAF being good is subjective but you can't deny it's iconic. Even if it would be kind of silly, I think it'd be nice to embrace the silliness every once in a while.
(We play a game where Laurie Strode can be sucked on by the Demogorgon, where we literally run in circles against killers, and flashlights work the way they do)
I'm just saying, there's not a lot of realism to begin with.

In YOUR opinion. For some reason, a lot of people like it.

Don't think its possible to add him bc scholastic. Wouldn't Karen's, er, parents, complain?
2 -
This is true, I didn't consider the other sources for it. While I agree parents/people/players would complain, I wouldn't say that would be enough reason to avoid a collab.
Majorly I'm with you on this and don't expect him to come, I just think it wouldn't be as awful as people think.

I think the FNAF franchise could work in a DBD chapter, Springtrap would be absolutely terrifying and could be incredible to face
especially given that if it happened in real life, his death would sound something like this
thank me for the nightmares later

I think Springtrap specifically would fit in well. He has the appearance and backstory to fit the bill. Child murderer who was suffocated and crushed in an animatronic suit. I'd like a robotic killer anyways since it's not been touched on by dbd at all.

Where are all those fanf posts everyone is talking about? there´s mabye one every few days and the only one fnaf related post, exept this one, in the first 20 pages of general discution is a post telling those who want springtrap to go cry because he´s not coming without explanation.

I'm a fan of fnaf, and it can be a really scary game at times, the lore is definitely wonky, but its a good game. That being said, I 10/10 think that it doesn't belond in DBD. There would be no way for it to be possible, seeing as they'd never get license and the mechanics would suck.
If they did, however, i'd want a 4v4 with each killer becoming active with each gen rather than having just Spring-Boi. Or just putting survivors in spring lock suits like pig with the head traps... that'd be the only way i would be okay with just spring-boi.

I think that Springtrap could work in DBD because you have to remember that the phantom animatronics are there to. His power could be to summon the phantoms and make them deal some kind of damage. You can have your own opinion about the manner but I feel that it would be intriguing to see an animatronic killer. You may or may not agree with me but compared to a lot of strange things in our world (Like being able to scare your cat with a pickle/ cucumber) this would only be another edition for the fandom and collaborations that happen.

Demogorgon and pyramid head say hi
2 -
The license is very much possible and if they can implement pyramid head and demogorgon into killers, i doubt springtrap would have bad mechanics
1 -
Ikr, the cringey and toxic anti fnaf crowd is putting words in our mouth
2 -
Springtrap is actually a mass child killer. It could work wonders if they implemented him CORRECTLY. Think of it as a Freddy Kreuger type.
0 -
Yeah, no shite. But at least they slightly fit the game, given that they are both supernatural slashers.

Springtrap is a jumpscare animatronic. Freddy Krueger is a slasher ghost. And the whole backstory for Springtrap is so obscure and such a tiny part of the games that most people that played them don't even know it. You won't get much draw for it.
And, once again, it's an animatronic.

yea some people can't understand that tho it go over they head.
3 -
because they fnaf hater are as big of baby as they think fnaf fan are.

"why do people have an opinion that differs from mine" grow up
3 -
Well, simply because there are people in the community that like FNAF.
Personally I don't really care if it comes or not, but I can definitely see why many would like to see it in the game.
2 -
Same. The problem is that this is an adult game. They can't add things from "kid" games to dbd I dont think. Bc whatever's in dbd doesn't matter. Its an adult game. But fnaf is constdered kids so parents would have a valid reason to complain. I think that it would be a lawsuit lol.

A FNAF character would kill the game? Literally 2 iq post 😂

I mean FNAF have been plagued with youtubers/stuff overreact videos & stuff, who made the game more childish and stuff, but when you try to dig a little bit further than the appearance, I must say even if I didn't played a single game, (just read the novels because I have a lot of travelling time and I enjoy horror novels); I must say FNAF would fit better than this romance series disguised in a horror one who's Stranger Things and has the same amount of interesting lore and psychological horror than Silent Hill.
Sure some people don't like it, and it's okay to don't like something, but remember how the loud community reacted when they announced Silent Hill over Candyman. Oh jeez that was so disrespectful and cringe in the announcement stream.
