What are these circling arrows for?

It's probably a very stupid question

Anyway it seems like a swap function but I can't figure out how to use it if that's the case.

    It shows under the outfit/charm you are changing. You selected the latern to change, so the icon appear there to show that you are going to swap that to whatever charm you are going to select. 👍️

    The exception here is the fact that there is a second circling arrow here. That happens because you were going to select "Seal of Metatron" which was also already equipped on your third charm slot, so if you go ahead and select it, it would change both your second and third charm slot. 😁
