So console killers...
They kind of run scummy builds and tunnel more often than PC players from what I am noticing with cross play. Why is it so bad with console players? Can someone tell me why a killer on console feels the need to run a build like NOED, Blood Warden, BBQ, and Dying Light all at once? Never saw it this bad with PC players. Worst of all, can't even call these people out for their overcompensation. I may be seething a little bit from all of the tunneling, camping, and relying fully on perks rather than skill with the killer's abilities. Who would not be really?

Same reason survivors run dead hard, unbreakable, DS etc.

Just had a PC Killer who ran Noed, Blood Warden and a Mori. Plus he was Freddy too.

That's fair enough, but I just don't see this level of nonsense on PC. I'm okay with cross play, but...come on. Is this some kind of weird console meta?

...
Don't sit here and make it seem like console players only run builds like that. Also, most players probably deciding to switch up their tactic since when playing against pc survivors they are jumping across your screen.
And beside, I don't see nothing wrong with that load out. The only perk from that load out that is complained about is NOED

I am on Xbox and I don't usually see that when I play Survivor. People run normal builds, like PGTW, BBQ, NOED and something else.

Not sure what you mean with "jumping across your screen". If you're talking about rubber banding, that can happen on any platform. If you are referring to the mystical "hackers" that apparently flourish on PC, uh...nope. Hackers are rare even here.

My experience today and yesterday has been the complete opposite.
And are you saying that dying light is a strong perk? That's like one of the best survivor perks the killer can run.
Also why survivors feel the need to run DS, DH, BT and UB/Adrenaline all at once?
2 -
No, not once have I ever experience this on console. A survivor could be in one spot and the next minute they are way on the other side. I'm not sure what it is but it's what I'm experiencing at the moment. Not a lot but it's there.
And I wouldn't say a lag because this seems more of teleportation.

Um. No we don't. Lower ranks are definitely more of a problem with tunnelling, and camping.
Here are my 3 main builds that I run on Xbox for killer, with zero camping or tunnelling:
Pig - Ruin, Surveillance, BBq, Nurse's. Dash add-ons preferred.
Doctor - Ruin, Surveillance, Distressing, Whispers. Calm and Order add-ons.
Legion - M&A, BBq, Ruin, Hex Thrill.
As for the tunnelling and NoED, I hate them and try to discourage them where possible, but there are numerous threads on here encouraging that very same behaviour to all killers.

I personally run stuff like Iron Grasp, Mad Grit... Ive never used NOED...

in every platfrom you will, but on consoles is just way too often, is like if console killers already go to the trial thinking they are gonna lose the match.
1 -
console is just filled with toxicity and rank 9 clauds tryna be toxic
2 -
Its called a ,,BUILD" because they CONTAIN these perks.
Also nothing wrong with using certein perks or add ons

I am not "skilled" enough on survivor to get past killers with one or two perks

Console players cant rely on skill to win because their auto aim correct bots built into their mechanics don't allow for that so they have to /sweat.exe to compensate.
1 -
Sounds like OP got got. Don't cast down all console players because you had a poor game.
Sometimes when prestiging a new killer, NOED is the best perk I have available. I'm not going to not take it lol.

Honestly seeing very little of this in my matches. If anything, I've seen a lot of sub-optimal builds in comparison to PC players usually running the meta.

Ive seen peoole bitching about these things for years across all platforms. Dont act like this is new

Mate don't complain about blood warden, that's silly
4 -
I'm going to say what I want to say within reason. Blood Warden is pretty scummy when paired with the rest of that. Don't tell me my words are silly when I've noticed a trend of console players doing this since yesterday. It's just an observation.

Odd because that can happen on any platform and I have had it happen on PS4.

I may or may not use some of those perks individually ( I like to switch up) but never in an overpowered meta way. We are aren't like that.
As far as tunneling goes, console survivors are... words I can't define.
1 -
Noed + blood warden + other endgame stuff combined aren't scummy at all, the killer plays with no perks throughout the whole match for the chance of everything working out at the end.
Also I'm a console player since before spirit and I think I've been hit by blood warden maybe twice? We don't have a blood warden meta on console, I promise you

Implying PC fats aren't as scummy.
Lmao.

It's nice to have the PC players finally see what were talking about. I can get behind an endgame build. Survivors have it too, but have to work for it. I just get tired of camping and tunneling. It's why I avoid doing either when I play killer unless I play Legion and wanna slap for FF.

I'm glad you can't call them out, because there's nothing to call out.
1 -
There is a lot to call out. It's people CHOOSING to be toxic. Is it bad to call them out for playing unfairly? Stop making excuses for people.

From my experience, they aren't. They can be pretty bad but it just ramped right up with console players.
0 -
That's a pretty weak build.
1 -
I'm guessing you haven't played much then.

Because PC has a clear advantage, both mechanically and with optimization. While you have 60 fps and can make the graphics easier to see with, we have 15 frames on a good day. Not to mention there is faster input with M&K.
And then you have PC tricks which we can't deal with. Cheaters too.
That is one reason for why it might be as you say.
2 -
Nah, My bi-annual games just usually put me against weak perks like Pop Goes The Weasel, Surge, Sloppy Butcher, Corrupt Intervention, etc that generally have a guaranteed impact on the game :(

Baloney. I've been playing pretty heavy since crossplay started and the ONLY difference I've noticed is the quiet at the end of games. They don't tunnel, camp, mori, or whatever any different.

Funny I play ps4 and since crossplay came out I only get tunneld to dead by sweaty nurses when 0 gens are done
1 -
If you didn't get this on pc, then you were incredibly lucky. From what I've seen and played its a common meta all the time. You don't see this level of tunnelling on PC? I don't know what to tell you. At this point I have to run useless perks and act like an idiot all game to not get laughed and screamed at in messages, ruining the game for me. Maybe that's why its happening. On console that might happen to them less.

They’re just perks dude, I like seeing more unique perks, hell I hardly see blood warden etc. So when I do I’m actually kinda excited, not to mention his only slowdown is dying light which sucks lol so seems and easy match.

I’m actually experiencing the OPPOSITE. Almost every PC killer I faced last night hard camped and tunnelled every console player in the lobby. Which makes me think it’s some sort of stupid “PC VS Console” war. 🤦🏻♂️

I'm console as well. I've actually added NOED to my meta since cross play because I'm getting more toxic SWF teams in an afternoon than I would face in 3 days on PS4 only. If the team isn't teabagging, flashlight spamming, carrying BT, DS, on all 4. Excessive head on etc... Than I'll slug them and drop them at the exit gates.
It lets me prepare in case it's a toxic-super team. But if they just outclassed me, I'll let whoever is alive when NOED activates escape... That helps with the dirty feeling of running it lol... But those toxics make it worth it to snowball 2 kills and listen to the NOED hate roll in my message box (when they ran every second chance perk available 🤨).

I'm a console player, and I think you're just genuinely unlucky. I can barely remember the last time I've played against a killer that ran Blood Warden. Of course, there's always a NOED occasionnally, but usually it's going to be on lower ranked killers or trappers. The only perks I really see are BBQ, Nurse's, M&A, Infectious, Pop, Ruin, Surveillance... You know, the typical killer perks.
