Remove the crossplay icon
We are one community and we should not hate on each other.
Just remove the crossplay icon so it is not instantly visible you are matched with players from other platforms!

Because it adds no valuable Information to the game. Why does it matter on which platform someone is playing? There are good and bad players on all of them...

wouldnt you still be able to see if some is on the same platform? At least for Steam you can just try to open the profile and if the option is disabled they are on another platform. Not sure how it works on consoles though..

I think you see it only negatively. Its good to see if they play on another platform too. For example, if your opinion is somewhat bad about console players and you see one performing quite good, its a positive thing.

For xbox when i click on someone's name their profile is disabled so i know there not on xbox.
Sucks to because ive had some really good sweaty games today and i like to end my games with a gg wp.
Devs need to add a chat box.

For PlayStation users it's easy to tell, all you have to do is click the name and if there's no way to view their profile it means they're on a different platform. So the icon doesn't really mean anything. That and Playstation doesn't allow spaces in their name, so if the name has spaces you know it's not PlayStation.

Why not? We're already only speculating on which plattform the killer or our teammates are playing. I don't think this would change anything regarding "toxicity". We have nice players and of cause the few wannabe-toxic ones on all plattforms anyway.
I want it for a more specific reason. I main Huntress on Xbox since she came out.
And if i get dominated as a Solo, i just would feel a bit better if i would know, it was a Huntress on PC.

Why does it matter that much though? Honestly having specific icons is pointless and may cause nothing but long queue times among other issues. If you’re killer and you see that you’ve been put in a lobby against 4 PC survivors will you stay or will you dodge? Be honest.

I meant for the endgame screen. For the same reason people want informations if they were SWFs or not.
My Xbox Huntress verses crossplay survs 95%, but i can only ASUME they're on PC if there names not include an "_".
