Crossplay is going to eliminate solo survivors
All I get are survivors who DC and killers who camp. If I'm not the one being camped, I'm the one watching someone be camped and either they or the people in the lobby decide to DC--and I don't blame them. Nobody wants to stand there and be hook-slashed as many times as a killer can manage with 30 FPS before they die.
I know people love to cry about second-chance perks that, for some reason, drive them absolutely insane to the point where I'm sure someone is going to froth in this thread about DS/BT/Unbreakable, but tbh those perks are to aid with issues like campers, and if something was done about camping/tunneling, less people would run them. Like god forbid people have some kind of counter-play for a cheap "tactic" (we all know it's trolling), but even with attempts made to counterplay it's not fun to be hooked, unhooked, chased, chased, chased, hooked, unhooked, chased some more, killed, and as a solo survivor, nobody gives a damn about helping you and people are running perks that'll help themselves get to hatch or the door after everyone dies as opposed to helping their teammates.
I used to play mainly solo myself and while I did have a lot of bad games against PC killers who just want to proxy-camp all day and then pat themselves on the back at a job well-done, now I have console killers who will facecamp me all game, too, and slash the hook because they can't say something dumb in chat after the match.
I used to only SWF when I felt like meme-ing with friends, but now I have people on my friends list--some of which I haven't played with or spoken to in months-- messaging me the second I get on begging me to stack with them because even they are finding this game to be unplayable alone.
Even a streamer I really like, who normally will play for 7 hours straight, ended their stream after just 3 hours because of how terrible their games were.
And disabling crossplay means Q's are worse than they've ever been so the options seem to be SWF (which is irritating), have even worse matches, or just manage to get like 3 games in an hour.
Something really has to be done about DC's and camping.

dbd is a 1v4 game you 4 are a team if a killer is camping do gens and the game will be over fast

Nobody seems to understand this. Whenever I am camped on hook, I see two or sometimes even all of my teammates just awkwardly standing around waiting for the killer to leave. Whenever a teammate of mine gets camped on hook they let themselves die because how dare we do gens instead of saving them. They don't seem to realise that the best thing to do is just wait it out. I know, it's boring for you, but it buys your team some time to actually do gens and have a chance. And last I checked it's still a team game...

And thats the moment when you yeet of the hook since you won't help them anyways since you're camped and they don't move.

If you can communicate that to your team, that's one thing, but playing solo 9/10 if you are being camped, or someone is being camped, one of the others is going to at least attempt to help.
Every time I have tried to buy my team time playing solo, at least one person ends up coming along, and they are then the next person camped.
Again, another reason why playing solo is just going to be worse. When I SWF, we all do gens and 3 survive if 1 doesn't get caught in endgame, when I go solo, at least two are camped and then the last two just try to wait each other out for hatch.
Solo survivors, for the most part, do not play this game like a team game, and it's going to be impossible to play solo now with a whole new platform of campers that are more malicious than ever because they can't troll in text too.
Solo Q is going to be dead and gone.

dont go for the save then its not my fault you cant just hold m1

I don't go for the save, you are literally not reading a word.
What I am saying is that your average survivor goes for the save. I do not go for saves, BUT at least one in a solo-q setting WILL go for the save either because they don't know or they think they can make it, forcing myself and the last person to play the hatch waiting game.

i dont know what to say other than get gud thats pretty much it sure it sucks but its a team you will get bad teammates

You just have to enter solo queue like you do when queuing for killer is all, some games you'll just never be able to win.

There is no get gud scenario here, dude. This is not about losing or winning or BP or rank or anything of the sort.
Like that you would even say that is tone deaf to the issue at hand, which is that this is now a reoccurring theme to the point where this game is forcing its players to SWF and run sweaty perks instead of even attempting to do something about it--when the entire point of this game was supposed to be a minimal comms (pointing, follow-gesture) horror survival game. Not the "Just do gens while killer stares at 1 person lol" game, and crossplay has made the issue worse than ever.
If this is not something you care about, I don't see why you're even pretending to address it.

Its is a case of get good if a killer is camping the person on hook dont reward him. Do gens and get out ist not a very hard concept to understand

I turned off crossplay because solo was just miserable experience. Unless I had another player from ps4 on my team I'd get left on hook (not camped) by my teammates until I died or hit struggle (mostly died). It wasn't like they were busting through gens, they mostly seemed to just be walking around on opposite side of map and maybe one would be chased. It felt like the other platforms the survivors work against eachother instead of together.
