Graphics update looks cool but I wouldn’t want 5fps so opt out option?
Kinda a joke but kinda not, frames are a mess even as basic killers on basic maps and it only gets worse with extra effects in killers, cosmetics and maps... so adding more to maps in graphics ... ehh probably be unplayable (more unplayable)

Console so we don’t get a choice, we just get awful frames to the point we can’t see in certain matches. It’s just been getting worse with every update (crossplay) being the most recent, shame

I think the background preparation for the graphics update that came with 4.0 is to blame here. Think of it like planks across the floor when you're laying new tiles, maybe.

I remember days when I had a weak pc. There was absolutely unplayable shelter woods. It was like 10 fps at best. Looks like devs messed up with fog settings or some objects was heavier. So I had to look camera down for better fps.
I want to believe that new graphics gonna be carefully optimised with close attention to heavy details. Because they make new maps from scratch. Not just add more polygons, lights and particles to old maps.

I remember the time I had a potato PC and I was a Freddy main lol. Ormond would turn my game into a slideshow and when I was playing killer I physically couldn't move for the few-thirty seconds whenever I'd boot up the game, and when new Freddy came out the first time everyone fell asleep my game would freeze lmao.

The graphical update will be the death of the game on consoles and cross-play would have been all for nothing 😕

Are they actually testing on console before it goes live? I'm really starting to questioning this if they have "plans to revert it" if it causes more drops.. I sincerely hope they know what they are doing because if the FPS drops even lower than it is then it's going to be totally unplayable. Right now a can handle it.
The new graphics looks super cool though!

Consoles don't have PTB which means they'll have to push it with live. PTB for PC might happen but it doesn't guarantee that consoles will have better performance.

Hopefully the update will fix the frame rate AND make the game prettier. Those two options aren't mutually exclusive: I have a crappy PC, I'm used to adjusting my own settings to get max pretty and solid frames.
