Weekly reminder
Alrighty week 2 of trying this.
If you play killer at any point in time and one of the survs DCs, BE NICE TO THE REMAINDERS.
Dont punish the survivors that were actually trying to play the game properly.
I’m hoping that this gets through tabs the game becomes more fun.
This will also hopefully limit the toxicity in the game.

Honestly, you shouldn't expect things like that. The Killer is under no obligation to "go easy" on you because of a disconnect; blame the coward that disconnected, not the Killer.
When that happens as the Killer, I don't want to waste 15 minutes farming to "make up for it", I want to move on to the next game as fast as possible.

I’m just trying to make the game less toxic and to encourage some aspect of human decency.

Wouldn't the more sensible thing be to ask people not to rage quit rather than ask killers to make things easier?

So the killer should just give up trying to play or just DC them selfs if one of the survivors they go against gets too salty or upset they can't out play the killer. Yeah sounds boring to me. I still try to play the game the best I can no matter what.

For me it depends on when and how many DC
1 DC early = a little farming but not all match long
2 DC's early= Farm match
1 DC late = "sorry but GG"
2 DC late= just leave
any more then 2 DC's is just not cool

I understand where you're coming from, but do survivors go easy on the killer when the killer is having a bad game? It feels like for some reason killers are expected to follow these made up rules in order for survivors to have a good time. In all honesty if someone disconnects and i am playing killer before i hooked them i'm gonna be more frustrated because i just lost 25% extra bloodpoints and i'm going to want to get out the game as fast as i can.

If players DC, the game's over. Might as well end it and move on to the next game. Playing nice with the three remaining players are just gonna spend a lot of extra time.
Its not like a survivor would ever go easy on a killer because they have a bad game. Its t-bagging at the exit gate as usual.

Not always; i've had matches where someone left at the start of the game and managed to get escapes with all 3 people still alive. (Non-farming)

I had to check to see if I was reading an April 1st necrothread.

If by "be nice" you mean "don't be a BMing wanker" them I agree. But that should be the norm I'm the first place, so I guess I also... Don't agree? I've lost my train of thought, but I'm gonna keep typing til I remember it.
The...
Nope. It's gone. Something about "don't force the survivors to farm". My brain hurts. Just play normal and leave. Or kill everyone. But BMing the remaining survivors is stupid and pointless. Just do the murdering and leave.
Also, if your teammate DC's in the early game, don't be a douche about it. Just hurry up and die so everyone can move in from the farce. That's not to say suicide on hook, if you want BP then fine, but don't abuse second chance perks or force DS. It's just an obnoxious time waster.

What do you mean by nice? If you mean by that farming, then this is a clear no from me. Also winning 3v1 is not impossible, even with an early dc.
