The first impressions of the "Alchemist"

Yeah, I know what you are going to say, but wait a minute. I've have to say something.

The first game was garbage, I bumped in every obstacle on the map, I had to m1 people on tiles, because his ability is garbage against loops... Or is it? (Hi Michael!)

So, first of all let's look at his ability:

Yeah, first time I saw this I thought he would be scarier than Rin, but in the game it turned out that the situation is a bit different.

I played 4 games (yeah, PTB, you know) and I got used to his power a bit. Bumping into obstacles reminded me a ping pong game and then I realised how should his ability actually be used. Bump into obstacles under an angle that you need so that you are pushed away at the right angle. I don't know how to explain but I'll try to visualise it:

Something like this. Yeah, it's a special situation, because you rely on the environment. But! That works. To use his power properly you need to know the map and the environment. Yeah, still doesn't sound great, but it is not that bad as it was before, right? Don't worry, he's a speedy boy so you will be able to get the survivor in these cases. Or, if you don't catch them use his addons that make him faster.

But there are quite big disadvantages that should be corrected:

  1. There is a bug, or it was intended to be that way, but whe he hits a survivor in his ability he get's stunned for too long. There are two animations that go one after another: he cleans his weapon and then he uses the injection. + when the animation of injection is being played he can raise knocked survs.
  2. He can't turn off his ability. If you use it you have to wait until it is finished, or you bump and use m1. There were very hilarious situations when I used the power and missed an obstacle and I ran away from a survivor until the abillity turned off.
  3. Ability hitboxes are weird. In close quarters he can't use his ability. You will just jump from one wall to another until the ability ends.
  4. 180 counter his ability, because when he swings the sensitivity is to low, so you can't hit a survivor.

That's all for now. I'm testing his addons.

He slows down to lunge, his hitboxes are the size of Rhode Island, he eats a double cooldown IF you get a rush hit, he can only rush if he has all 5 charges, he has no turning during rushes or lunges.

I couldn't find a single situation where the Blight could use his power against good Survivors and NOT be punished for it. I'm heavily convinced he's the worst Killer in the game.
