Turned crossplay off for killer to get my frames back.
If you play on console such as PS4 or Xbox and get bad frames turn it off, I’ve had to do the same because the frames are either so bad, feels like you’re walking on ice or just get motion sickness from the blurred screen and frame drops. No difference in lobby times when turned off, better frames and just and all round better experience, not looking forward to graphics update, could make frames worse for survivor and non crossplay games.

Np, thought sharing it might help people who had the same experiences as me. Ngl I nearly uninstalled the game for the first time over 3 years but swapping back seemed to improve my experience, hope it helps others

I've heard that console killers suffer no penalty for turning off crossplay.. can this be true?
Are there really that many console survivors going out of their way to disable crossplay? I would think survivors would want games asap.

I selected to opt-out of crossplay on PlayStation 4 and it has improved my overall experience. It is far from perfect though as framerate and performance is really poor on consoles.

I opted out of crossplay and my wait is only a minute or two as either killer or survivor on PS4.

Not a lot of console players want to play killer in the first place, so lobbies are instant anyway.
Opt-out survivor queues aren't that bad atm either.

Crossplay was for PC tbh, console queues and stuff wasn’t terrible at all, but with the crossplay on I get terrible frames so I’ve opted out, it’s the best choice and I gain the most benefits having it off
