Bubba's chainsaw should overheat faster
Reason I say this every time I run across them they just hook and facecamp and sometimes they leave the hook only to run back 2 seconds later and insta down there chainsaw should overheat faster when camping do we can get the rescues

Yeah it should also have Speed Limiter automatically apllied, and slow him down to Nurse's movement speed, would be balanced then

No I just want to not be Face camped buy a bubba everygame who never moves and always has his saw ready to go at least speeding up the overheat gives some counterplay as they cannot spam it rapidly for insta downs because people have unhook challenges

How is him constantly able to facecamp and never overheat balanced he can facecamp and wipe q entire team because it won't overheat this way a survivor has a chance at a rescue because they can bait the bubba to overheat rn you cannot

Rescues are an intended part of the game. If survivors were not supposed to be rescued they’d automatically die on first hook.
Hook cycling is how the game is supposed to go. That’s why you can’t block the unhook prompt or trap too close to the hook and it’s why stuff like BT, Devour Hope and Make Your Choice exist. It’s why survivors are marked down by the emblem system if they leave a teammate to die on hook and why the killer is rewarded for hooking multiple times. The entire game is balanced around it.

You do realize the rework was meant to make bubba viable thus discouraging camping and encouraging chases since he could actually use his chainsaw without having to be on a survivor's a$$.
Also I'm curious what is your idea to fix this "issue" .

Yes, but i play to get kills. Before you say anything, No I don't outright face camp, but I will when neccecary. If I can, I won't let you get the unhook.

Don't bother. Most killers are of the "I must 4k every time before 3 gens are done or this game is survivor favored" opinion.

Why do all campers do this “now I don’t camp BUT...” thing? Just admit that you camp, lol. It’s not against the rules. If you want to camp you’re free to but just admit that you’re camping.

It really does take a long time to enter tantrum.
The 2 add-ons that increase time before tantrum are unnecessary.

90% of the time survivors force the killer to be around the hook by not waiting for them to leave(Which most do).
Or
By looping the killer around the hook.
Survivors see this as "Camping" While in reality its the survivors misplaying forcing the killer to be near the hook(Which mind you is stricktly advantagous for the killer to be chasing a nonhooked survivor around a hooked survivor but that's entirely on the survivors for causing).

This isn't an issue you can solve by nerfing Bubba. For starters they probably should rework Insidious to discourage this playstyle. Regarding hooks you need to address basement and situations where killer can prevent unhook in first place. Until then it's going to be every killer doing it not just Bubba.

The devs need to change camping mechanically if they really want to get rid of it. I just got facecamped by an infinite tier 3 Myers so changing Bubba wouldn't do anything to solve the camping issue since there's plenty alternatives.

"Doing gens" will still guarantee a minimum of a 2k, unless its some sweaty 4-man SWF.

How the game is intended and how the game works are two different stories. Take swf for example, this game was built around people being solos, no comms, but here we are, still dealing with this unbalanced bs.
I will regurgitate the same answers that survivors give, you don't encounter face camping every game, so take the loss and move on.

the problem with bubba camping is that hes probably the STRONGEST face camper in the game. Then billy and pyramid head are tied, then huntress

If you are playing against face camping bubba's, you're likely in lower rankings. I've yet to play against a Bubba at higher ranks that face camped.
He's in a good place despite bad killers that will throw a game just to face camp one person.
If you're unaware, the best way to counter this, is to just do gens and absolutely don't be over altruistic.
This face camping "issue" hasn't been an issue at all from my experience against Bubba since his change.

I'm on about the 1 hook never leave the hook and just stay ready watching and revving up instantly but just far enough out of range to not insta over heat bubba's

Same I know how tempting just camp is and hate doing it and all that unless I have a challenge for it (still doing tomes had to catch up so I mean basement hook challenges)

Do. Gens. Goddamn. If he wants to facecamp leave him to it. He'll lose map pressure, most likely the whole match. And he'll be penalised by the emblems system.

Just tell your team to have Borrowed time and if you solo queue then stop solo queue and find a swf

It's hard to gen rush when your entire teams on hooks dying right next to each other and the second you do a gen he's on you with his saw

Sed takes all the fun out and there more likely to kill you for a laugh when they know you have a challenge I'd rather trust randoms then a swf
