Prologue

Before we begin I just wanna say that this is subject to change, I'm not a developer so I'm not perfect at this. Friday The 13th is pretty well known and liked. So I tried my best to make something unique.

What Is Friday The 13th?

Theres not many people who don't know what Friday The 13th is, but I did it for my SCP concept so I'll do it anyway. Friday the 13 (Which I will henceforth be abbreviating to F13) is a 12 movie long horror franchise started in the 1980s, It was voted to be the most popular horror franchise in america (That might have changed in recent times though)

Licensing Concerns

For those unaware F13 is in a massive lawsuit currently, its highly unlikely any deals will be made until its resolved, it should be over soon so hopefully it happens later down the line. While there was recently a new board game. It could exist for two reasons. 1. It was being worked on before the lawsuit, in which case they might have been given time to finish it. 2. It makes no reference to the stuff victor miller might own, so he wouldn't be involved as a rights holder in that regard.

Onto The Concept

Map: Camp Crystal Lake

This is a natural fit for DBD, considering we haven't got any camping maps. It would be outdoors with a few small cabins and other stuff (Archery ranges and others like it). This was very easy to imagine.

Survivor: Tommy Jarvis


Perks:

Last Ditch Effort: Sometimes you have to decide when to stand up for yourself. Pressing the active ability button will have you block. If a Killer attacks you while blocking they will be stunned for 1/1.5/2 seconds and you will not be damaged. This perk exhausts you for 60 seconds.(Basically Dead Hard but Stuns instead of giving distance) "You leave, I'll hold him off."- Tommy Jarvis

Take One For The Team: If a survivor is downed within 8/16/32 meters of you. The Damage will be applied to you instead of them. This can only be used once per match "This bastard has killed enough people!"-Tommy Jarvis

Maggot Head!: Your insults get right on the killers nerves. Start the match with 1/2/3 tokens. Upon having any other survivors be revealed a token will be consumed and yours will be shown instead. "Hey maggot head!" -Tommy Jarvis

(Forgive me if the quotes aren't one to one, I haven't seen the movies in a while)

Killer: The Revenant

Height: Tall

TR: 32 at base (I'll explain later)

Move Speed: 115%

Power 1: Chokehold

This is a special attack. It has worse lung and better range (Ie you can grab someone on the other side of the pallet), this can lead to you getting some nice rewards. Grabbing a survivor will have you pick them up as if they were downed, albeit they can wiggle out much easier. If a survivor breaks free they will not be damaged. If you think they're about to wiggle out you can drop them and try to attack normally. You can slam the survivor into stuff. These are the following interactions.

•Pallets: Jason slams them into the pallet and breaks it instantly, this will injure the survivor.

•Generator: Jason will slam them into a generator, instantly regressing it more than kicking it, this will injure the survivor.

•Window: Slamming them into the window will have it be blocked for the rest of the match, this will once again injure the survivor.

•Wall: Breaks the wall and injures the survivor.

•Locker: Slamming the survivor into it will injure the survivor and render it unusable.

•Hook: If the survivor is already injured they can just outright be hooked.

Power 2: Rage

This has 3 levels and charges passively. It charges more depending on whats happening (Totems, Generators, Whos injured, Hooked, ect.)

Level 0: Standard

Level 1: 24 meter TR and Vaults and Breaks stuff 5% faster.

Level 2: 16 meter TR and Vaults and Breaks stuff 10% faster.

Level 3: 8 meter TR and Vaults and Breaks stuff 20% faster.

Addons: I'm not going into excruciating detail, the only ones I'll outline specifically are his Iris. But the rest could revolve around how fast you move while grabbing, how hard it is to struggle out. How fast rage builds up, how rewarding rage is, ect.

Iridescent Gloves: A pair of worn down gloves you once used. You are able to hook grabbed survivors regardless of whether or not they're injured.

Iridescent Locket: A locket of you and your mother, it fills you with rage. You start with a TR of 24, Rage 1 brings it down to 16, Rage 2 brings it down to 8, and Rage 3 makes you permanently undetectable.

Perks:

Getting Started: You know how to keep a low profile. You will be undetectable for the first 30/45/60 seconds of the match. "Where the hell did he even come from?"-Unknown

Hex Mothers Shrine: The entity let you bring your old shrine in the form of a hex. 1/2/3 lit totems will spawn. Cleansing a totem will make the killer move 5% faster and vault 25% faster for the next 60 seconds. It will also reveal the survivors aura for 5 seconds. "Kill for mother!" -Pamela Voorhees

Not So Easy: You won’t let them leave without a fight. The Exit gates and hatch will be blocked for 10/20/30 seconds after opening. “This is your last chance Jason, don’t let them get away!”-Pamela Voorhees

Prologue

While not the only big one, Friday The 13th is the only massive licences that DBD feels incomplete without. It doesn't feel right to have this game be horrors hall of fame without him. I think he could be amazing if done right. With that being said. Good luck, Stay safe, and may you have fun in the fog.

Edit: Made a variety of changes based on bubbabrothers feedback. Changed the name to "The Revenant" from "The Camper". Reworked Mothers Shrine a couple times.
