nah fam you all got it twisted and putting hypotheticals on the webs. If a killer deserves a kill ill give it to him. When he slugs the whole team just because he can and he knows we will get penalties if we DC thas not okay and ONE of the MANY instances im referencing which has already occurred since they placed the matchmaking lock on console.
They need to put a matchmaking lock if you DC more than once within the same hour... 👍️

If a killer gets the kill, they deserved the kill. If you died, no matter how, the killer deserved the kill. You have, as a survivor, all the tools in the world at your disposal not to let that happen.

The only scenarios in which a killer does not deserve a kill are when a. he is cheating or exploiting or b. working with other survivors.

Sounds like the DC penalties are working, I only hope they eventually permaban you when you keep trying to abuse people by disconnecting. You are the type of person that made this system necessary.

1 DC per hour is extreme you may honestly only get in 4-5 games. So it would be justifiable to quit 20-25% of your games. Grab a soda wait for the bleedout and que back up.

Listen I'm lucky if I get 3 or 4 games in an hour. If you think people should able to DC from every third or fourth match with no penalty your definitely part of the problem.

I guess me being brand new to the already pretty much dead game getting 2 rank 4, a 6 and a 19 survive with friends and getting looped all day long and me leaving warrants me being punished as well huh.. GREAT game.. get stuck on rocks, ######### matchmaking, and get punished for getting people I should not even be playing to begin with.. refunding this pile of garbage

i think its bs that people dc a lot dont get me wronnggggg! a lot of people jumped to conclusions about why i posted this but i was meaning that if a killer is taking the game hostage and just being a douche for no reason and lashing out on players who are just vibin we should be able to dc, i will not excuse a survivor dcing at the beginning of the game though for barely any reason. i made this post out of frustration after being slugged and left to bleedout when i had a full bleedout timer and the killer refused to pick me up and hook me

That's not taking the game hostage.
You have to accept that you can be perma-slugged, face-camped, tunneled, etc every time you queue as survivor.
This can lead to some unfun scenarios, but they're still a part of normal gameplay.

its considered a killer refusing to engage in normal gameplay if every survivor is downed or you are the last alive without an end game timer to be slugged and not hooked. thats incredibly toxic and not normal at all and i should be able to dc without ban instead of waiting there for 4 minutes.

i didnt say it was bannable, but how is me disconnecting considered quitting early when the killer is literally just standing over me refusing to let me die because they want to be a jerk and waste time the game isnt going anywhere so it shouldnt be considered me quitting early. I like slugging survivors when its strategic and i eat ds so thats not why i slug but id never engage in such a douchy play like that to just let someone bleed out for no reason. people really need to quit assuming i want to ban people for slugging when i actually just wanna dc from this waste of time game

You stated that it is refusing to engage in normal gameplay (which is bannable).
Additionally, if you are slugged when the EGC starts, the EGC timer is also 4 minutes (the exact same amount of time it takes to bleed out).

What rank are you? I like to believe that the low rank killers play like ass (tunneling amd camping) to rank up, then find out their "strategy" doesn't work in red ranks. Those are the kind of people we see here complaining that the survivors are "op".

That's not what happened to the OP. They def disconnected intentionally.
I've had it happen where my game crashed but that's entirely different and Peanits was addressing what the OP said which basically amounted to "wahh wahh DC"

Doesnt help that if your internet connection drops and you get kicked through no fault of your own then get a matchmaking locked that's unfair

If you disconnect you get a penalty doesnt matter why. That is fair and equal for everyone.
