Dead on the hook without 2d stage
It happens randomly so there will be no video. I got hooked and my friend saved me before the 2d stage. When killer hooked me again i died instantly. How am i supposed to dodge that?

Has happened to me a couple times before. Don't know what causes it

I have also had this. I assume it is to do with cross play because it only started after that was implemented. Check to see if the killer is on console next time it happens.

It happens when i play on my platform (PC), so idk what's wrong exactly

Game is still bugged yesterday I sacreficed guy 3rd I put him on the hook still he had game escaped icon XD

Was it against Pyramid Head? The cages count has a "hook" stage.

If your left on the hook too long it counts as hook progression so you can essentially die on 2nd hook.

A few things could've happened:
1) You were on the hook for too long during Stage 1 and proceeded to Stage 2 but got pulled off before the animation played.
2) You were hooked as the last Survivor remaining in the match and it skipped your Struggle Phase because the match is over at that point.
3) You were hooked while everyone else remaining was hooked and everyone was in Struggle Phase so the game skipped everyone's Struggle Phase because the match is over at that point.
4) Bug/Glitch/Etc. because it wouldn't actually surprise me.

No, and i said i wasn't hooked more than 2 times and i wasn't unhook on the last second before the 2d stage or smth

No, i was unhooked almost instantly

For too long? As I can remember if you get unhooked before the struggle stage, you won't die instantly. I've never seen that before and it wasn't in the game before

I was hooked in the beginning of the game and then in the middle, but everyone were alive at that moment. I got unhooked definitely before going on the 2d stage, so the only answer on my question - new beautiful and amazing bug/glitch <3
