Voice chat vs Discord for crossplay
I'll make this short and easy
You cant force people to use discord on a game that literally tells you that hearing is a core mechanic for the survivors
Couse you are giving us 2 options here
Eighter use our headphones on the game or on discord, and yeah we can use discord without headphones but we all know is not the same and still you have to keep one ear clear to hear

You can in theory have PC and console audio streams combined. A console player can connect the screen they play on to their PC (if their screen has a 3.5mm headphone port) via the audio ports on their motherboard. This might require a ground loop isolator to eliminate static however. I'm not sure if such ports are common on TVs to be honest but should work with both TVs and smaller monitors as long as they have the port.
Here's an example of that method, but there's more videos of the same and different methods out there: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qYfVIM_acAA
Obviously all console players in the party would have to do this if everyone wants to talk on PC Discord.
Pretty sure if someone has an external mixamp (some players with gaming headset for their console might already have one that works for this) they can also do this with that, but I've never done that before.

Lol at least you can use Discord. My country blocked it 3 years ago.
Edit: only the voice chat feature of discord is blocked, not the entire app. Still, it sucks.

I undertand that but in my case and my friend, we dont have that so we are on the same point that we begun, we need a voice chat for consoles

Oh yeah, I do agree. Usually communicating in crossplay games is no problem because the game has built-in voice chat, if it was up to me it would just be added as part of the crossplay friends list system.
I'm also surprised no universal app for voice chat that works on as many platforms as possible exists. Discord (or a new one) should get on that, would make things a lot easier if an app like that was available on PC, Playstation, Xbox, Switch and even mobile if possible.
