Looking for a freddy build
With all the new Perks out now are there any good freddy builds that people have come up with? What is the best freddy build with or without add-ons?

Surveillance
For add-ons, you want to combine any two of Nancy's Sketch, Nancy's Masterpiece, Jump Rope, the yellow Rope, or Swing Chains. It's suggested you go one Nancy's one Rope/Chains.
Or if you want blood points swap out STBFL for Bbq.

Addons: Any. I would not use fake pallets but other then that, you cant go wrong. His slowdown Addons are my favourite tho. Also blindness are good, when you play against an OoO survivor.

I haven't lost a single game (3k or 4k and 26k+ bloodpoints) with this build since his rework (red ranks ofc).

Corrupt Intervention, Bamboozle, Pop goes the weasel and Barbecue and Chili. As for his add-ons... well, he only has, like, three passable (not good, passable) add-ons, so it's pretty self-explanatory.

STBFL, Discordance, Whispers, Nurses Calling has always done me well on Freddy.
Discordance rather than Surveillance as Surveillance is getting a huge nerf next patch.

Imagine thinking that the two Nancy's drawings add-ons, Rope add-ons, Swing Chains, Red PainBrush:tm:, Black Box, and even in situations Cat and Unicorn block, are only "Passable" and not "good".

Fun Build: Nemesis, Dead Mans Switch, BBQ/Surveillance, Ruin + Class Photo, Nancys Masterpiece.

Freddy needs consistent builds, as believe it or not, freddy isn't that good without good perks
Want to have fun? Run:
- Corrupt
- BBQ
- A chase perk (enduring, brutal. I prefer enduring) or a QOL perk (shadowborn, lightborn if flashlights, etc)
- A gimmick perk to play around but is consistent (I like monitor or STBFL)
Want to win? Run:
- Corrupt
- BBQ
- Pop
- Enduring, brutal, agitation. Something to speed up your actions.

No, he doesn't. He has a couple of passable add-ons, namely those that slow down the survivors' action speed (and that got destroyed shortly after the rework with no discussion, no testing, nothing), and that's it. Everything else is garbage and a waste of points.

Literally a freddy main lol, and I'm well aware. He came out last year whilst I was on holiday, doesn't change the fact I've mained him for 3 years lol

Tinkerer, Ruin, Discordance and PGTW. The tinkerer so I can keep track of gen progression.

Thrilling Tremors/ BBQ/ Tinkerer with Pop are going to be a must. Having a way to locate which gen is being worked on so you can teleport and pop it is great. I like BBQ due to bloodpoints. But the others are good in their own way.
The other 2 are up to you. I like Sloppy+Nurse's for slowdown and location. It also works well with his add ons

BBQ for power synergy with teleport by aura reading .
Then Pop Goes the Weasel in the gen you just TPed. So go after the survivors with scratch marks or with the direction you saw their aura take.
With Nurses Calling you get ppl healing by surprise specially after TP.
So Corrupted Intervention to get thosr 3 minutes at start to find survivors, delay gen repair and get your TP power bar fulfilled by the first time (wich is the longest one to fulfill the bar).
Use snares, they can be more offensive. I like the addons that add status effects to survivors that interacts with dream snares/pallets.

Freddy doesn't need any perks or add-ons. Slap on Garden Rake if you prefer Pallets to Snares.
I only use BBQ and Garden Rake. Sometimes use faster Gen Projection recharge too. Freddy is already a beast at base-kitn it's actually ridiculous that putting anything else on him is actually overkill

One build thats a lot of fun is: Nemesis + Dark Devotion + third seal + tinkerer addons purple chain + dream pallets
The basic idea here is freddy is at his weakest when a survivor is awake, hiding your terror radius against awake survivors makes it easy to get that first hit. Once their asleep your dream powers take effect. You could use dream snares but i like the idea of creating as much confusion as possible, hence dream pallets and third seal. Plus third seal covers freddy's biggest weakness, OoO. Its a fun build and works better than people would expect. Ive put really good teams on their backfoot with it

If you want to give Survivors depression go for Jump rope + Swing chains, Thanatophobia, Sloppy Butcher, Pop, BBQ.
Could even swap in Dying Light in there somewhere.
