1st hook Mori'd 120 seconds into the game.
This is exactly why Mori's need to be reworked. You sit in queues for 20 minutes; only for someone to 1st Hook Mori you.
Trapper trapped the inside of a window so you couldnt see it; then I get farmed off hook, instantly downed again and Mori'd :) So much fun.

Seems pretty fun to me, kind of a laugh riot. I'm a Rank-9 and I've been getting damn Reds all day. Until the matching is better, I think the Mori is just fine where it is now.

Mori after 2nd hook is pointless. There are 2 reasons: it will not stop Killer from tunneling u to Mori; Mori may take more time than get to a hook.
My idea is:
- Red Mori: Killer able to kill One dying Survivor (no hook required) when 1 Gen left
- Green Mori: kill One dying survivor when Exit gates powered.
- Yellow Mori: kill One dying survivor when in EGC

Here's the match in question.
You took control at 4:28:06 and got mori'd at 4:30:06, pretty much 120 seconds instead of 60 seconds into the match, twice as long as you had claimed.
You also were not even farmed off the hook, borrowed time didn't even activate and the killer just got done hooking someone else and you stepped in a trap. I chalk this one up to "survivor error" although I still think the killer was a bit of an ass to mori you that early.
Don't forget reporting the killer for "Homophobic slurs" when he said nothing of the sort in post-game AFAIK.

So let's start. The killer see's a T.TV, with a flashlight. With the word "Damnnit" in their name. Yeah that's a combination of traits that doesn't scream "Toxic T.TV". Killer's gonna Mori you.
Then in the end game screen you're running all meta perks. With a flashlight. Kind of deserved it.
Then you go on the forum's with all of this proof against you, as a player. To complain about Mori's ruining YOUR fun.

Peanits said once in a post that they are gonna work on moris keys. So I hope they will get changed very soon, things that happened to you in that game are just dumb. Sometimes survivors are crying that they get moried after first hook, and the survivor rule book says "only hook after second hook". At the moment I would never say that, what's the point of a mori when you mori them when they are dead on hook anyways?
Only thing I cant understand is if a killer hooks the first survivor, and than instantly tunnels them down to mori them. Everyone who does that deserves 2000 Stridor Spirits and 5000 Basement Bubbas.

I think moris should be like Myer's tombstone piece. Stalk nooblet survivors and right before you pop find the sweaty guy and insta kill him.

Dont get it wrong, you can totally ignore a survivor, focus hooking other 3. When the requirement is met (2 Gen left), you can down the 4th one and Mori on the spot, it bring a real big surprise to survivor team.
This is if you combine with Rancor, you only need to focus on 2 Survivors.
My point is to let survivors still have play time, rather than tunneled and Mori off hook.Though I think my Yellow should dropped to Brown, Green to Yellow, Red to Green.

Just the killer doing his objective. I don't see the problem here. You running directly into a trap off the hook was hilarious though! Once you know you're up against a trapper you really gotta start paying attention.

First down? That's nothing, I killed a Claudette on the first hit on her with Tombstone Meyers yesterday. (Shout out to that Bill that just stood across a window looking at me while I drained him dry to almost full Tier 3!) 😉I got a second Tombstone kill later in the match but that wasn't quite as wrenching as poor Claudette who probably just expected to get downed when she heard the music.

As the person posting your Vid clearly pointed out, you lasted two minutes. While the first trap could happen to anyone, the second trap was on stairs that you should have noticed. Why did you blindly run up a set of stairs outside of the same building he already had one trap placed and not look for it? That's on you.
He Mori'ed you. Yes, it sucks when it happens, but then you go on in post-match chat to use profanity against him. He used no profanity back, and only called you "entitled" after you complained about a Mori and used profanity against him twice.
What do you do then? You file a false report about a Mori (which is allowed) and go on to also false report that he then trash talks and uses homophobic slurs. He did not, at any time. You were the one using profanity.
@Peanits @MandyTalk @not_Queen I want to bring this to your attention. An above post has the video embedded, The match begins around 4:28:00 and the post-match chat and his using profanity begins around 4:37:00 or so. The False Report is around 4:39:00.

I mean, I have inventories full of Ebony Mori's because I just don't use them except for a daily ritual. Somehow, I always have more pinks than greens on the Mori's, and I'm not risking a +60k BP payout on the crappy yellow ones.
The devs claim they will be looking at them. But until then, they are what they are. I mean, his first match in on the video he brought a key and laughed about it.

The Killer has moris and is allowed to use his moris. This dude baby raged so hard on him over it while running BS meta perks. At least moris are hard to come by, those perks are active 100% every single match and never need to be replenished.
But it's not about the whatboutism of meta perks or Twitch or any of that. This guy fell into a good trap, got mad about it, got unhooked, ran directly into another trap like a rank 20 still learning the controls, raged about THAT, and then get morid because any killer with sense who sees flashlights and .ttv names knows there's a good chance it's a memesquad coming to be as annoying as possible, and then he rages about THAT and acts like an entitled child in the post-game chat and files a false report like a tool, and then CONTINUES to rage and comes here to talk about how moris hurt his feelings after he was a total sleazeball to someone who just used an item in a video game and did not respond in kind to his harassment and rage.
This kind of trash needs permabanning. We don't need this type of person in the community. Absolute dumpster fire of a player.

Is there a single good reason why they haven't disabled ivory and ebony mori's? They've shown in the past they have the ability to disable offerings without removing them from your inventory, so why not disable the one that almost universally hated until a rework is released? At the very least they could disable ebony mori's and leave the other two for dailies. It makes absolutely no sense. I'm just sick of waiting 10 minutes for a match just to see a hidden offering and know there's a 90% chance the match is going to be terrible and I should just DC or suicide and wait another 10 minutes.
I just hope that if they do rework it they don't repeat the insta-heal mistake and announce it in advance without disabling them. The game will be practically unplayable.

Well, Devs mentioned the animations at one point. But, lets face it, the animations are cool when the Killer is new or any of the players are new, but once you have seen it or are around for longer, most people will not look at them. And all what is left is the "I cannot lose anymore"-feeling on the Killer Side and the "What a Bullshit"-Feeling on the Survivor side.
Funnily enough, if people are saying they like the animations and thats the reason why Moris should exist, whenever someone promotes having them worked after the second Hook, they still dont like it. While it would be quite a boring fix, it would be the easiest one and the animation would stay, but apparently it is not the animation what they like about Moris, despite saying that.
(Best thing was reading that Moris are fine here...)

They aren't even "almost" universally hated. Lots of people are just fine with the Mori in the game, and in fact there are quite a lot of us that don't think it should go anywhere. The reason you only see them discussed in a negative light is you are here HERE, i.e. the most negative place on the internet. :) If you haven't noticed they have discussed nearly every single Perk and power in the same negative light as the Mori, many times over in fact.
