Console killers, do you have trouble with hitting attacks since crossplay happened?

Before crossplay, I used to have loads of fun with killer. I would have difficulty with the controls and the framerate and I would miss some attacks but the survivors I played against also had that problem so it evens out.

But ever since crossplay came out I found that I have been having less fun playing as killer. Sure, I have been playing against higher level survivors but I wouldn't mind that as because I enjoy a good challenge. However, the performance issues on Switch makes it hell to play against survivors with better framerate.

If they start moving side to side I find that it screws up my aiming so much that I miss hits due to the sensitivity and performance issues. There would be many times where I would swing, and then the survivor would move erratically, which causes my camera to shake and my swing to miss. It also doesn't help that survivors have a tendency to disappear when juking if they get too close, which the low framerate compounds. And then you add elements like corn and it becomes unbearable.

That isn't to say that I lose every match, and I know that I'm also facing other console players, but it feels like I have to put in so much effort and stress as killer as the missed attacks have a bigger effect than when I was facing only Switch players. I find myself playing survivor more as I actually enjoy the crossplay feature of that side.

Sorry for the ranty post because I just had a bad game but I want to know if other Switch and console players are experiencing the same frustrations as I am. Are you having the same trouble with missing attacks or am I just overreacting?
