Can we PLEASE get a safety pip when survivors rage DC

Seriously I'm getting tired of asking for this. It's not fair that the killer and the non-asshat survivors who choose to stay have to pay the price when teammates who failed to loop or get downed first disconnect.

Survivors can actually make the killer and fellow survivors de-pip just by clicking "leave match". It's literally the most toxic and unfair thing a survivor can do.

If a killer DCs no survivor loses rank but the same doesn't apply for when a survivor rage quits.

WHY?

Rank and pips mean nothing in this game. Why do people care so much about rank? Stop taking the game so seriously.

In regards to survivor DC's, let them DC. They get punished more than you with a time penalty. If a killer DC's the whole game shuts down, so it's only fair that survivors get to safety otherwise it would get abused to no end by killers who want to be dicks. If one survivor DC's you can still get 3 other survivors and pip/safety.

We CAN safety but it's extremely difficult.

Yeah, ranks don't really mean anything, but losing some of that because someone else got mad and left is really disheartening. If I lose a pip, I want it to be because I played badly. Not because somebody didn't feel like actually playing the game.

You are not going to convince people that rank doesn't matter unless your argument is more then rank don't matter.

aside from rank do you really think after a game somebody dc's in a game in and the "ENTITY DISPLEASED" end screen comes up that it feels good or is good game design.

Maybe rank dosn't matter to you but some people are motivated by it to play better and they want something to show

Rank matters to me. The more potent your Rank, the harder it is NOT to lose a pip. One disconnect usually means I'm lucky to hold steady. I think if a PC disconnects, and I lose a pip, it should be a wash.
