I’m loving the Hit Validation Server so far

Just had a match on Xbox (perhaps the console that specifically gets the most BS hits from killers) where this pig constantly kept swinging around the corners of the loop hoping to hit me which would normally hit me but thanks to the HVS it didn’t. This is super good considering Consoles suffer so much latency. Thanks Devs! (:

Nah man its inconsistent but when it works it does wonders pretty good so far.

I'm just curious, did you play with cross-play enabled?

I haven’t really noticed any difference either side. I’ll hear the sound of the killer whiff their hit and then go down anyway, which is always enjoyable, and I haven’t been denied any hits as killer except on one person who was clearly lagging out and disappeared into thin air. But then I have good, consistent ping and this change was to address people with ######### connections or VPNs, so I guess it’s a good thing if I haven’t noticed much?

No, but even without cross play, Xbox suffers so much latency and bad ping so killers were guaranteed to get bs hits but I’m going to try it with cross play on and see if I see a difference.

My experience has been dramatically worse. Now more than ever, killers seem to be able to lunge from a ridiculous distance and seem to hit every time!

I read the notes but my gameplay experience is far different.

(I play on PS4 with a ping of 60m/s. Crossplay enabled. Mostly survivor)
