Match making ban is bullshit and broken.
yesterday i was in a game where the killer disconnected and i somehow got a matchmaking ban for it. just then my game froze and crashed and i also got a match making ban for it.
Why am i getting punished for something i didnt even do?
For starters the game needs to be optimised before you even consider adding a matchmaking ban because lagging out honestly isnt that uncommon.
nothing is wrong on my end, i can play every game perfectly and my internet is really good.
the fact that the devs even considered matchmaking ban on a game full of bugs is bs. why stop people from playing? make the ban like a bloodpoint debt or something because getting locked out of your own game for stuff you didnt do is just #########.

So theres a bug that sometimes occurs where the survivor disconnects from the match, and it shows that the killer disconnected, however the game is going on as normal without the survivor who disconnected.
The killer is still in the game with whatever survivors are remaining.

I'm not going to lie, I used to be all for DC penalties. Then I got kicked from a couple of matches for no reason (my PC connection was fine the whole time) and I cannot help but think about all the people that get that all the time, just because of the games buggy nature. I don't think penalties are worth it overall. Survivors just suicide anyways, and it's almost as common as DC's used to be.

No they don't. It lowers the dc's significantly and that is good.

not only does it decrease disconnect rate, it also increases hook suicides.

That has neither been my experience nor what I see from streamers games.
