PC killers wow 😂
Ok so I'm a red rank survivor on console (Xbox One) and I'm used to facing a variety of different killers (not same boring killers over and over again) who are very skilled (mind games, map pressure, game sense, etc) and for the most part super enjoyable and never stale.
Now along comes crossplay where we console players get to face off against PC players and oh... my... god...
Here's how a game against a PC player goes;
Step 1: Freddy, Legion, Clown... That's it. Easy to play killers with low skill ceiling.
Step 2: Boring builds (super slow builds which prolong the game in such a boring way I'm ready to leave halfway through)
Step 3: Proxy camp. The killer's heartbeat will literally never leave if you're anywhere near the hook.
Step 4: Tunnel. These killers I mean OMG 😂 Borrowed Time? Decisive Strike? PC killers just don't give a #########, they'll hit the unhooked survivor with BT, eat a DS, and still tunnel the survivor down.
Full disclosure if I'm in a team of survivors who know what they're doing it's easy to just finish the gens and get out. But man it's always sad for that ONE line survivor who just doesn't get to have fun.
If you're a PC gamer who mains killer... Patrol gens, explore the map, learn how to loop, and I promise you'll have much more fun than focusing on one survivor per game.

Thats funny because im finding the opposite to be true. Console killers proxy camping, tunneling, ebony mori galore. I feel they see a PC player in lobby and they think they need to "prove" something by making sure they get the kill on them.

Console killers are some of the saddest, campiest killers i've seen. like 60% of the games i've played survivor side for PC, half the people have NoED and can hardly secure a kill without camping/tunneling hard. And then some of them have the audacity to PS4 message you if you lose and try to taunt you. (Had one freddy with the force reach - green bar ping of 63- who hit me from 6 miles away, at the end of the game for whatever reason decided to message me and said " Get outskilled" when he tunneled me off hook both times and I was his only kill. Everyone else got out. He focused me for 5 freaking gens. Teammates even tried to get his attention.) I just blocked him and moved on, but jesus. Also, huntress for PS4 Xbox is DUMB hard to aim for me. PC baby on that one.

Tbh pc and console are the same the only difference is i see more huntress and deathslinger now. I forgot i see a lot of hacker too the speed hack and the invincibility hack

Really, I've still only encountered a single game with a hacker in my time playing DBD, and even that one I'm not sure could honestly have been a bug, was a jake I saw that dead harded 5 times in a row, but maybe he had bad internet and somehow the server caused it to display like that, I honestly don't know.

Ikr? I don't see too many Freddies anyways but nobody on PC plays Clown and Legion. Sitting at the bottom of my Killer count with the likes of Plague and Demo.

Yeah im kinda unlucky with that but it only happen 3 time for now if i see one more hacker i will probably stop the cross play and stay with the ps4 player. Its harder the hack on console if you want to hack you need to mod your ps4 and it cost a lot of money to do so its not worth it

I've never seen Freddy put in the same bracket in any comparison as the Clown or Legion. You've had an awful limited experience or are awful at triggering people. Keep trying junior.

I have to agree. I've been on ps4 for over 2 years and never have i seen proxy camping and tunneling like i have since crossplay has been released.

I have both console and pc and can confirm that both are the same in terms of camping etc; but pc killers are generally better, and also more likely to use different killers (I'm looking at you Huntress and Nurse).

I have noticed no difference whatsoever between PC and Console players (regardless of main). I'm not sure where all these salty tears come from. I wish I would pull these mythical players that each whiner side claims exists in their own group. They sound swell. All I ever get is standard DbD players. They throw the same pallets, use the same tactics, and do the same things right down to the some of the salty and poor sportsmanship in some cases. The only thing that is different is less after game chatter since the Console players can't do it. It makes them seem very nice. But then I come over here and realize they are also the same, and have to vent a spleen when they get wrecked. Ah well.

This is stupid. This is literally racism. It doesn't matter what the context is assuming/stereotyping and prejudging is all the same thing. You can't possibly be so ignorant to label ALL pc players by the killers you face against which is almost always tend to be same few hundred people because region/time of the day/rank.

I don't want to sound like a jerk, but it isn't racism. It is a type of bigotry to be sure, but we should be careful about terms as it weakens and invalidates them when they are thrown around willy-nilly. Racism is a specific type of bigotry tied to ethnicity or perceived ethnicity. Snobbery over Console versus PC isn't an appropriate comparison. One is as simple as choosing one's favorite football team and then being vocally loyal to them while trashing all other teams. The other is being born into an ethnic group that suffers discrimination and persecution for no other reason than they are alive.
I apologize for this little screed, but this is a pet peeve of mine. PC versus Console is a silly, artificial construct. Racism is not; please do not lump them together.

Clearly racism is the prejudice against races. What I am saying is there is no difference between two people whom one is racist other is xenophobe they are the same thing different words because one is specific to races other is countries but thought process and ignorance is exactly the same. If there was a word to an individual who is prejudice against two different game platform player base I would use it and you would be happy ?
and no it is nothing like trash talking about two different teams. There is no team made of 40.000+ people and PC players have nothing in common other than playing the same game. It is like saying all soccer teams are the same.

This has been my experience for the most part. Of course there are exceptions but when crossplay first got introduced and I went against console killers, the games were so much more chill, less toxicity, less try harding, less tunneling, less camping.
And then I would get a PC killer again and along came the sweat fest.

posts like this help nobody, stop with the console vs pc crap. We don't need to make another partisan group of whiny babies who are at each others throats. There are good and crap players on both platforms just deal with it and stop trying to make it something its not.
If you feel that strongly about it then turn off crossplay problem solved. Stop wasting everyone's time trying to create a new argument among the community.

As soon as you get matched with someone doing something you don't like, you look at their icon and say "HA I KNEW IT!! THEY'RE ALL THE SAME!" and ignore the matches where that didn't happen.

How do you know they're on PC? Crossplay icon just means any platform other than yours. But also, if they're proxy camping at 5 gens, it should be an easy W if you and your teammates are solid.

I play on both PC and console. Killers are pretty much the same across the board but you see a lot more nurse/huntress/deathslinger on PC. Everyone plays like a jerk though. It's just the dbd code--both sides are anti-fun, especially at high ranks.

to 2: They try slowdown builds, cause theres no reason on red ranks to try underdog builds.

and on your last point. I don´t care who you are or wich rank you are. Ranks are saying nothing about skill, it shows only how often you play.
