It should go over the max bp threshold, has done so with previous gifted BP as well.

Not 100% on this, but I think it goes into a sort of Overflow. So you could have 1M BP from normal gains and the 250K reward. Not sure if you can still earn BP, but it does show that your BP is over 1M

I am sure BHVR will review additional compensation requests when the errors are resolved.

I was told nothing. Just logged on and it said I was gifted them. No explanation. Funnily enough, that’s why I asked. Cheers for the smart arse comment though 👍🏼 There’s always one.
