Make ds deactivate in endgame
After all gens are powered, decisive strike gets deactivated.
A band-aid fix, that would make ds more fair.
To people saying no, ds is supposed to be anti-tunnel not ez escape end-game (:

How is that “more fair”? More fair to the killer who failed to protect gens? More fair to the survivors who completed their objective?

Survivors shouldn't be punished for a killer's inability to hook them before end game. Especially not while NOED exists.

How is it fair? I had a killer chase me for about 3 ministers while my team finished the last gens and finally down me... he tried to face camp me and the only reason I got out was a brave teammate and me having DS. Why should I get one hooked because he’s mad I led him on a chase?

I don't tend to comment too much about specific Perk suggestions because I don't really feel qualified. I will make a rare exception here. This idea deserves to be thought out. I'm not against it specifically. Right now many Survivors (myself included) save D/S until they absolutely must use it, i.e. last hook or end game collapse. Why? If you use it during the end game collapse, you pretty much are guaranteed to get away. What is more, you are pretty much guaranteeing all your friends get away too. The stun created is just long enough to give the Killer a serious bad day. The point of DS is that it is an anti-tunneling tool. Well, tunneling doesn't matter once you have hit the end game collapse. All bets are off on everything.
There is a negative side effect going on too, i.e. the slugging that everyone hates. No Killer in his right mind is going to want to pick anyone up unless they know for CERTAIN the DS has already been used. They know with the gates open, often right at hand, that if they pick someone up and get DS'd.... everyone gets away pretty much automatically. The Killer doesn't want that but their only other choice is to slug everyone down and wait for them to bleed out or the end game collapse to complete. That isn't ideal for anyone.
So, after thinking about this all morning, I kind of agree. The end of the game is the end of the game. I'm pretty sure I would also take away the Killer's ability to open the gates too though, or you would be creating a situation where DS can be turned off at the Killer's best timing.

Yeah I don’t see this working out. Killers would be free to tunnel just cause of end game? I don’t get how that makes all bets off just cause all the gens are done. That’s when the highest chance of tunneling happens lol

Yes, and ds isn't the only perk/tool that can help you escape, sprint burst and dead hard can help with it and bt.

ds/sb can help you get a distance of the hook to a pallet or window. The only place where it wouldn't work out is basement.
Plus your teammates can bring bt, take a hit for you, flashlight save or bring break out to help you escape.

Those Perks don't stun the Killer and prevent him/her from going after other Survivors even if they help the user escape. DS pretty much gets EVERYONE out pretty regularly. How do I know this? I've done it. If I, or anybody I play in a SWF team with, still has a DS available and the end game collapse has begun, we make sure we get caught by the Killer. You don't make it obvious, a little chase is put up, but the point is to get caught and stun the Killer. Maximum escape vector is created. By in large I don't approve of SWF and after doing it for awhile I decided not to do it anymore unless it is a Custom Game among us ourselves. However, I see other people employing this same tactic on a regular basis. I've had to let people bleed out because of it.

Yeah and lets just hope I’m close enough to the exit gates? There’s no way the killer isn’t just gunna keep after you. And if you don’t play with friends then you’re probably not gunna get BT. Not to mention that everyone knows the struggle of being exhausted on the floor from DH lmao.

I totally agree. I think this is the only time DS is really strong. If you eat it midgame, you don't have to worry about it during the EGC.

Noed and blood warden exist and maybe stbfl/bbq, it can help with catching more survivors if you don't want to camp.

Not me my friend. I catch and kill my survivors before EGC. But I can see why others may choose to tunnel someone at that point.
Not saying I don't lose, but when I do, I won't be saved by No Ones Even Dead yet.

Noed feels kinda cheap when someone use it on insta-down killer or paired with 3 slowdown perks

Just get rid of DS when you can afford it, get rid of it early.
The longer you leave DS in the game the more use survivors get out of it.

It should deactivate when you are not tunneled, that's it.
If you are tunneled off hook during the endgame I see literally no reason for it to deactivate.

If you make it past endgame as survivor, you were never tunneled in that game, because tunneling means chasing the same survivor the whole game or untill they die, not going to down unhooked survivor.

Tunnel vision might change through the course of the game. Tunneled person is not always the same person, who killer sees first. And there are usually more than one tunneling targets. So if you were not tunneled before the endgame, it doesn't mean that killer won't tunnel you after the endgame. When the endgame kicks in, such perks as NOED come in play, and killer, who couldn't have gotten some survivor (because they either hid well or were amazing at looping), can easily get the very same survivor down in one hit. Then the "camping/tunneling" situation begins and not having DS doesn't feel like a right thing to me.
So I don't think disablement of such perks as DS in the endgame (or any perks at all, really) would be fair (especially if they fix DS, so that it's actually anti-tunneling perk and not invincibility perk). Because the only problem with this perk is that it's not used as it is intended to, by many.
Moreover - endgame is not intended to make a life harder or easier for any of the sides. It's just a timer that makes sure that game will actually have an end, preventing slick dumdums from running around the map for several minutes after all gens are done and both gates are open.

This is simply dumb. You sound like a killer who’s failed to pressure gens and have been DS’ed at the endgame multiple times. Maybe you should improve your game by gen pressuring rather than chasing one survivor for long periods of time then complaining that DS is too strong. Killers these days have way way better perks than survivors. DS and unbreakable are really the only two excellent perks that are game changers, the rest are either useful but not amazing or just down right #########.
especially when most killers use NOED which by your logic should be reworked too cus it’s op as an endgame perk, DS makes it all the more important perk cus of NOED. Get better before you complain. DS is a really good perk that can change the game but it’s not impossible to counter. Just down them and leave them alone for a minute then DS runs out. Which in the mean time you can slug. Easy
