why do killers get so mad when hit with the head on decisive combo?

considering you are going after a recently unhooked survivor why do you get so mad after getting flexed on with the decisive head on combo?

I dont see how the killer can get mad with that instead of having a 5 second head start on the killer the survivor got a 3 second head start that counter productive for the survivor. Now if this play is use by 2 survivor i can see why the killer could be piss but this is a great play from the survivor and need a lot of timing

    no counterplay

What makes you think they’re mad?

Its actually pretty funny and sometimes they mess up the timing and just get pulled out of a locker. Also to jump on what Batax said above, it’s an inefficient action. No ones winning because of that but it is funny.

There's plenty of situations though where you're not going after that Survivor right after an unhook and it ends up happening anyways.

Considering you'll gain more distance with a DS than a Head On, the combo only exists to bm.

if you don't know you must be the most toxic person in match, also if it egc you need to tunnel and camp sometime sorry

also I been hit with decisive head on flashlight combo.

another thing you can easyly be hit with DS when your not tunnaling that because DS IS NOT ANTI TUNNELING PERK SO STOP CALLING IT THAT.

But the Devs literally called it an anti-tunnel perk. I don't know why a certain community manager said they didn't, but there was a well-circulated screenshot of them claiming the perk that only activates if the killer tries to hook you after you were recently hooked to be an anti-tunnel perk.

it can be used as a anti-tunnel perk but it really anti momentum perk.

Honestly, I've come to regard it more as an additional hook state. I'm not super sure how happy I am with that, but it's just how I calculate it into my trials.

Well the fact that you take the time to hop back in the locker for the double whammy instead of getting away probably has something to do with it,

Always remember kids if you bring this combo bring a firecracker as a going away present for the second stun, they enjoy it so much

I started running head on a lot recently as part of my slug build, because people seem to assume I'm also running DS, am I one of the few people who runs Head On without DS? or have I just been getting killers that just play in a way beneficial to my build?

I have had one person do that to me in the game (and no, I wasn't going after a "recently unhooked survivor". This was a good thirty seconds after they were unhooked, I happen to run into them again).

I do not tunnel when I play this game unless you really piss me off. That person was tunneled and taken out of the game.

There is no tactical reason for you to do it (hell, as others have pointed out, it sounds like it actually hurts you as a survivor to do it in terms of time lost getting away) so it is 1000% only being done to spit on the killer. At least clicky clicks and tbagging I can somewhat understand as you're trying to get the killers attention but there is literally no other reason to DS/Head On a killer but to disrespect them.

So yeah, I hope it was worth it ######### because it is now my mission to take you out. If that's you "winning" because it lets your team get away, so ######### be it to be blunt. Your "win" can keep you warm and fuzzy when you get to go meet The Entity...

I don't get mad, to me the survivor is just wasting their own time jumping in lockers trying to Head On when they could be doing gens or whatever. It's the same reason I don't get mad when people bring flashlights, survivors who bring flashlights tend to not actually do anything useful while they're trying to get flashlight saves or are clicking it to get your attention. In fact when survivors follow me around clicking the flashlight I intentionally ignore them and go after other survivors, that way I get to have two survivors off a gen for the price of one.

Erm how about when a killers not tunnling but a D's survivor runs into them and takes the knock most killers are like free hook go for the grab only to be hit with D's then immediately hit with a head on stun before they can even start a chase now mix in 2 lockers with head on the killer cannot move

    Wasted time hurts the most,

I think in most games never mind DbD being stunlocked is far than fun.

Say for example WoW PVP or League.

But especially in a game where seconds matter so much.

    Just my two cents.

Not really much of a combo tbh.

Using 2 of your perks for the same result.

Usually people who use head on are cocky and disrespectful people. Not always, but happens more than usual.

If you think you're "flexing" on anyone with this, I can see why you're relying on DS to not die as you dash to a locker after getting thrashed.

What makes you think it only happens when chased off hook? I've had games where I've gone after the unhooker, found the other like half a minute later. They jump in a locker, and I get stunned with head on.

Same reason people don’t like getting stun-locked in any game. It feels annoying to be immobilised by multiple stuns.

Imma hit you with a strawman argument.

Why do survivors get mad when a killer brings franklins? Or when a killer brings lightborne?

someone gets it why I hate head on more then ds it troll perk imo.

Killers get mad about this? Sure, you get stunned for 8 seconds, but afterwards the survivor is DS free and exhausted. Plus half the time they miss the Head On stun, so they're just kinda screwed. If survivors wanna goof, let 'em goof.

Whenever I see a survivor jump into a locker to force a DS stun I take them up on it. Just know that you're declaring open season on getting tunneled later in the match. I normally don't tunnel - even against teams that don't bring any DS at all - but if you throw your anti-tunnel perk into the garbage can early in the match I figure it's fair game.
