Devs, am I obligated to unstuck the same survivors multiple times?

Just played a match where Cheryl and Kate got stuck in the rock multiple times. Firstly I picked Kate and let Cheryl flashlight save her but Kate managed to get stuck again a minute later. Played nice again but seconds later Cheryl got stuck, and Kate run into her to get stuck too. Since the two were always playing around the rock since the beginning of the game with this little game of getting stuck, I decided that they were wasting my time and went to kill everybody before coming back to them again. In the end game chat they said I would get banned for exploiting a bug, but I'm very sure they were exploiting the fact that I supposedly should kept unstucking them in order to not get banned.

Can I have an official opinion about this? @MandyTalk @Peanits

I have seen this bug before' yeah, and it's really anoying.

One time, survivors got into it on purpose (i think) and i got stuck too. They started t-bagging me and all of that, and then i downed them and got out... how?

    I was demogorgon XD

Well technically you aren't obligated to do anything for them. If I notice them there (and I don't always if I'm busy) I down and hook them. Their friends can come save them. If I found them stuck again, I would be kind of annoyed at them for wasting their team's time and not carrying their weight. I suppose I would either Mori them right there or hook them again.

My preference is to leave them there until I'm done with the survivors that aren't stuck. One less survivor working on gens. I'll give them hatch at the end, though.

At this point I just stay away from hills. Can't unstick a survivor if you don't know they're stuck.

If you saw them there and left them for last, that's exploitation. Not sure about free hooks.

I'd also like to say if Peanits does read this, Siege has had a history of just disabling the character Clash for her game breaking bugs. Maybe you should discuss with te team about disabling maps where this hill glitch occurs until the problem is fixed. That way we all have less problems with this sort of issue.

In regards to the "free" hooks, there is no such thing as a free lunch. The only way they can get free is if the Killer stops what he/she is doing to go over, down them, move them away from the hill and either drop them or hook them. Every second I'm doing this "charity" action is time not spent chasing the other Survivors or keeping up pressure on generators. Most of the time I'm in the middle of doing something when I see them. Several times when I've gone through the trouble of freeing said Survivors they went on to disconnect anyway. Ungrateful to me and rude to their teammates.

At this point we all know about the Hungry Hill glitch and we even know exactly where you hit it. I play Survivor too and if/when I go up a hill I make sure I'm not hugging it as I come around to the slope up. I haven't gotten stuck since the first time it happened to me. So I don't have a lot of sympathy for those that get stuck now that it is well-known. I would have zero sympathy for someone who got stuck there more than once in the same game. I would question what they are up to in fact.

Honestly, no you aren't obligated to help them by any rules the devs have applied.

I think it's kinda down to the situation. If people are playing normally and someone makes an oopsie, i think its really cool of the killers who do hit, pick up and release. However if its happening more than once and seems to be a ploy to waste your time, just hit them and hook them or leave them to bleed.

Had a match today where the killer did a catch and release the first time it happened to a meg. Then I ran into the same hill like an idiot a minute or so later, didn't begrudge the killer hitting me and hooking me at this point, he'd played fair, but shouldn't have been expected to let me go at the expense of his own game. Especially when i KNEW the hill was buggy!

In this case, i was the stupid, i got hooked, fair enough.

You almost certainly won’t get any action taken from the devs. You have no obligation to throw the game on behalf of glitched survivors.

Exploiting would be more in line with causing the glitch yourself, if you somehow trapped them in the hill yourself (like picking them up and ditching them there) then MAYBE but just taking advantage of someone stuck is hardly bannable

Idk if this is due to the same bug but I morid someone in on of those nooks and when I finished I was stuck and had to dc

So you killed them and they are reporting you for exploiting a bug?

I can't see that sticking, I don't deal with reports but I'm pretty sure that you didn't exploit anything. From the way it's worded in your post, it sounds like the survivors were trying to farm points there and taking advantage of the situation - at least that's the way I'm reading it.

I've been stuck once and had a killer stuck once, both times we helped each other out then reset the match and carried on as normal. It happens, people get stuck by accident and then some people try to take advantage of it, most are pretty nice though and allow you to reset.
