Out of all of the ‘Meta Perks’ which One or two are the least controversial or most balanced? Or the least “toxic”?

Just wanted to see what the community has to say.

For survivors only because the perks they have are discussed a lot in the community.

Most balanced/least controversial? I'd say Iron Will

Don't think I've ever seen a single post complaining about Iron Will.

It gives you more opportunities to make skilled plays but does nothing if you aren't good. Pretty well designed to me and pretty polar opposite of most the other meta perks. Most the other meta perks are game swinging effects, with zero cost, that aren't situational, ask nothing of the player and require zero skill. Speaking of most the survivor meta perks.

Killer side I'd say least controversial is probably Corrupt Intervention. I'd say most balanced here as well, but I think in general it's too weak to call well balanced. It's just the only real early slowdown killers currently have so there's no competition. Complained about but most balanced I'd say Pop. Strong if you play well, weak if you don't.

Most the other killer meta perks are all complained about. However, almost all of them have costs, skill requirements, or heavy restrictions.

IE I feel like there's a pretty heavy double standard in design when we look at both sides meta perks. So while both are complained about a lot I feel some are a bit more warranted.

    For your other question:

I don't think any perks are innately toxic. What makes things toxic is how you use them.

As much as people complain about it, I PERSONALLY think DH is fine. It's a skill perk which gives i-frames, meaning the player must time their execution of it in order to get out of a hit. I like Character Action games and would totally bind DMC3 music to my DH if I wasn't too lazy to learn how. I don't think BT BY ITSELF is considered controversial either. It's more when it's paired with other meta perks. By itself, BT seems perfectly fine.

Adrenaline would've been my second choice after IW as well. Although it is complained about some, it only rewards the person for playing well which is good design imo. It also has the cost of being down a perk slot all game essentially.

Unpopular opinion here, but I personally enjoy facing NOED as a survivor and this is coming from a killer main who never uses NOED. It's pretty exciting trying to find the hex and perform a save. That said, I do see it as a crutch perk and am disappointed whenever a killer obviously relies on it.

    That's my thought on Adrenaline

Iron Will cause it's useful cause stealthy gameplay can in fact save you

I would run these perks but I don't have room ATM

Borrowed time. It needs a cooldown, but it's not that bad.

Dead hard is fine when used as intended. It's not fine when used for distance. I would like to see the invincibility frames stay, but lose the distance.
