should add in game voice chat for the survivors
i find it difficult to communicate with every one and it would be better to help each other out.

I'm sure some people feel that way but most don't really want it or would turn it off. It's a decent idea but it would lead to more toxicity than helpfulness.

No.
I know lots of players who will quit DBD if proximity voice chat / in-game voice chat is ever introduced to the game.

I wouldn't quit if they added voice but I have a hard time seeing myself using it.
I don't really need to have some kid screaming about how we need to rush to unhook him when I'm a few seconds away from getting a gen done...

You know there's a reason information perks do exist. I know it's sounds crazy, but it's not intended that you use voice chat in this game. And for my part, I do like it that way.

Have you played F13? Thats a nightmare! You have 13 year olds screaming down their mic or wannabe DJs blaring the melody of dolphins in an organ-grinder. Thats a pass for me, fam.

I'm not sure about it. On one hand, SWF would be more balanced as Solo Q is slightly more like it. But I don't wanna get yelled at by a 13 year old who screwed up every skill check.

If I wanted a 14 year old screaming obscenities at me, I would've had kids.

I mean for swf itd make it alittle easier if i wanna play with someone on pc since im on psn and their on discord.

Well no, but actually yes.
Make it like f13 where Voicechat is limited to where everyone is, like in a 4 meter radius it starts to Fade away :)
But then again... 12 year olds :/

I really don't think so. I feel as if the lack of communication is a part of what makes DBD so fun (and at times, scary).

If it can be turned off I don't really see a reason not to add it.

I think that its funny F13 just because of the voice chat
you can joke with other guys talk with jason and se some random kid screaming in the headphone i dont know but i think that this si super funny

Because if most people have it off then what's the point of implementing it?

Voice Comms are NOT part of the game's intended design and will never be added.

That would be the quickest way for BHVR to ruin their otherwise successfull game lol.

What makes you assume most would have it off?

Judging from the amount of people who were for it and weren't for it in this post alone should answer that question.

Barely anyone has posted in this chat at all. Much less for or against.

The issue is that the game is not balanced around the concept of using Voice Chat. Many perks would have to be completely reworked or outright replaced if Voice Chat was introduced.
THAT SAID, one of the biggest issue at the higher ranks of play, where balance is a mess, is that SWF teams are using Discord or other Voice Chat programs to circumvent the need for Intel perks. Voice Chat BREAKS the way this game is intended to be balanced, and as a result, we have a very limited meta that has emerged around Killers dealing with Intel heavy Survivors and Survivors being able to stack Second Chance perks because they don't need Intel perks.
In many ways, the balance for the game could UNIVERSALLY be addressed if Voice Chat was added. It would be an admission that "Voice Chat is a thing, it's being used, and it's affecting the games balance", and it would have to come with massive reworks to Intel perks. On the flip side, the balance for the game would be the same from low to high rank, as it would be tuned for all kinds of players. Everyone would have the same benefit that currently a relatively few have.
VoIP wouldn't be perfect. Balance wouldn't be perfect. However, it would all trickle down correctly and not create the current scenario where high end and low end are essentially two different games that require separate balancing.

Wait, maybe just, use bond / emphaty / kindred and any other non meta perk for more information? But no, better use DS, to have an even easier time in the mouseclick 1 simulator.
