Dem Older Kill Animations

Seems like with every new Killer, i wish more that they would go back to the older ones and think of something new.

Recently viewing a kill animations compilation, which is of course ordered from old to new, quickly makes you realize how incredibly outdated the first few really are, at least in comparison.

With graphics updates happening, i really wish that this could be done for the older animations somewhere along the way of those updates.

Would you like new kill animations?

Would be a nice thing to add. I dont see it as something to prioritize atm but it would make a nice addition

I'm curious, who all are you talking about? Just Trapper, Wraith, and Billy? Or even more of the earlier killers besides them?

I agree that updates to the OG threes' really bland and basic mori animations would be awesome, but I feel that all of the other mori animations are generally fine as they are (though I also wouldn't mind if Huntress's mori was improved a bit too).

Though I'm probably in the minority on this opinion, I also want to have an option to toggle the mori view between 1st and 3rd person cameras (as I actually prefer remaining in the killer's perspective during mori's). Players who want to keep the cinematic 3rd-person-view camera when mori-ing survivors could do so (and have it for the older 1st-person moris of Nurse, Doc, and Huntress), while players like me could have the more visceral 1st-person-view for all of them instead.

Always talking about the original 3.

From Nurse and henceforth are all fine by me.

LOL Wraith and Trapper have the same mori basically and billy does too but a chainsaw instead.

I'd like new kill animations as long as they're NOT purchasable via the in-game Store. Its free or nothing.

I mean there is also the option of a new section of the store for killer animations and for survivors maybe new gestures

What if trappee had a mori where he opens a trap and puts it on your head then kicks you down

What about something like For Honor's executions? Each killer could have a set of different moris and you could buy/select the one you prefer

They could work more or less like skins, and they could sell them in the store/use them as rewards in the rift

Never played for honour, only thing I've even seen from it is watching bricky playing it a while back, but sounds like it could be a decent system.

All thi gs considering, I do wish all killers got at least 3 unique mori kills Each done in random occurrences. That way it isn't so stagnant as seeing one single animation repeatedly. But that's just me. I enjoy mori kills. Doing and being done to me.

I wpuld love to see them updated.

Trapper could throw a trap on a chain and drag the survivor to him picking them up on it and us8nv it to crush their head as they then slide out and fall to the ground.

Wraith could uncloak while standing on a survivor and slowly start to pull out the spine from their back much like the predator would and hold it up inspecting it as its what he uses for making new weapons.

Billy could be seen chasing a survivor and as they turn remove their head with a swing. Their body stands in place and slowly starts to fall to the ground as he swings violently removing more body parts as it does. The last part is through the survivors lifeless eyes looking up as this is happening.

Trapper and Wraith both have quite possibly the most boring moris in the game.

Trapper I think is fine. While I'll agree that it is boring, it's also very basic, which is kind of what he stands for. The basic character.

Wraith needs to be changed. From the Survivor perspective, you don't even see what's going on. Something like a jab into the Survivor's collarbone like he did to Azarov (in his older, more graphic, better, but also less accurate lore because of his weapon) would be cool. I like the leg grab, but that's the only thing that makes it interesting.

    Hillbilly is fine as is.

It'd be nice for every killer to have unique animations in general, not just for kills, but it's not really necessary.

Didn't play it either, but I have a friend who showed me the different executions and how the system works

I can see it implemented in DBD honestly

Well to start, they should switch all of the old moris from 1st to 3rd person.

I'm a bit late but my vision is this (and people aren't gonna like it)

So if you play killer for any amount of time, you probably have stacks upon stacks of ebony moris. I think I could mori every game for about a month now without breaking a sweat. So how do you get people to use moris?

So in the cash shop there should be moris you can buy. Different styles etc that shows the mori animation that you would be using in game. Some longer, some shorter, etc.

Wraith's mori fits his lore/backstory. He doesn't seem to get much enjoyment out of killing compared to Ghostface (Takes a souvenir photograph. He's a narcissist who enjoys murdering.), Clown (Collects peoples fingers, laughs about it. Serial killer.), Doctor (Tortured a ton of people. Checks the victim's face and laughs), Freddy (Don't really have to explain it. He also tricks the survivor into thinking he left.), etc. so his Mori being nothing flashy fits him.

I like the leg drag though at the start.

I do agree Billy and Trapper moris need to be re-done. Billy's looks horrible atm because the saw isn't even running if you look closely last time I checked (Although the leg on the back looks cool). Trapper's mori is just uncreative and looks too similar to Wraith's.
