I think the stats cause them more headaches than they think they are worth. Unfortunate as I would love to have seen stats since the ruin and map changes.

Dear DEVS, I suggest you get the software called "Power Bussines Intelligence (PBi)", it lets you do stats analysis, studies and reports, and all you have to do is add data, the reports and studies update automatically the moment you copy and paste data to the software, this way, you'll get the reports without a headache. It's a win-win, you get data to analyse and change the game while you share us some basic data.

I doubt they ever will release the "Raw" stats again since people on these forums can't seem to accept that the data is flawed because its not refined enough to give the full information.
I mean look at the now nearly year old stats: People still try to use them to argue for killer nerfs despite both their age and game updates since renders them invalid.

Personally if they're going to give stats I'd just as soon they implement an actual stat site or the ability of third parties to pull in stats for a stat site so that you could do your own searches for things like kill %/escape %/average scores by character, percentages of use of various perks, etc. (There is a pretty decent site out there which pulls in Steam player stats with their player averages which is an ok leaderboard for players, but for purposes of stats about the game itself it's not that useful.)

True but at least we can see the best map killer side and survivor side, still something useful imo
