Thats an unnecessary buff id say. And I main him. That would be very convenient, but its maybe the only challenge that you meet when playing him - to quickly find bearings on teleporting.

I love that you said "maybe the only challenge playing him"
That is pretty funny, and so true

Survivors need some of the invulnerability they used to have against him. Waking up seems pointless now.

Decrasing the skill ceiling on any killer or survivor trick is uneccesary and unhealthy for any competitive game.

He’s already a brain dead killer no need to make him easier

That could be good, however, it could cause spawn problem in small areas.

Waking up avoids
- snares
- pallets
- any slow down add ons he’s equipped
- faster teleport recharge.
There’s ALWAYS a reason to wake up.

There's the "survivor bad" reply I was waiting for.

But yet theres a unnecessary micro sleep in his kit. So even if I do wake up, I'll go back to sleep in 60 seconds for no reason. And not only that, the clock that allows me to wake up will be across the map.

It’s not unnecessary at all, and that’s the risk/reward compromise you as the player need to make.
- reduce his power for a minute any time you’re able.
- Or keep Freddy strong for as long as possible.
Or or we could go back to Freddy manually putting survivors to sleep again. Meaning he’s 100% invisible to awake Survivors, can see the auras of sleeping ones, and sleeping Survivors suffer 50% debuff at base. (I’d actually be RIDICULOUSLY happy if I could use old Freddy again. He was my favourite).

Yeah but it used to be exciting. Snares are blatantly obvious to see and can be triggered like Hag traps. Fake pallets are still going to be there if you get hit immediately into the chase, and teleport charge barely gets slowed down since it's constantly resleeping everyone anyways.
Wat. No there wasn't any sarcasm. I liked Freddy pre-rework. He was unique in how to approach chases, but the interaction with self care and spine chill made him out to be impotent when he had both wallhacks and exceptional gen stall.

IIRC it's 90 seconds if you grab a clock. You can also have another survivor wake you. Or intentionally fail a skill check. (As poo-poo as people argue Technician is, you can use it to wake up via failed skill check on a generator without alerting Freddy)
EDIT: I do think there should be more urgency to wake up though. Freddy's strong due to his gen-teleport and snares making him good at chases and massive synergy with Pop and BBQ. The actual dream world itself isn't very oppressive or scary like it was with Classic Freddy. Maybe they should bring the old dream world graphics back for survivors only so vision is impaired a bit.
