Should we give Baby Killers/survivors a free Kill/Escape or no mercy?
Well.. im one of the few who cant killer baby survivors.. i feel bad and they're way too cute.
same when i get a baby killer.. it is easier to give a baby survivor the hatch then a free kill to baby killers because they mostly dont accept it.
Since matchmaking is not working and its very easy to get to red ranks for both sides do you think we should have mercy with babys?
or do you say " no mercy, full tryhard"
let me see your opinion on that.

I give hatch if they played their role and helped the team with no toxicity, I actually focus on the others, down the noob as the last survivor and carry him to hatch.

If a baby survivor manages to be the last one alive I'll give hatch...It's hard though when they won't stop running away/struggling.

When I play killer and get baby survivors, I give them extra chances. Or I'll mind game them so they can see how better killers play and then I'll just leave them there for someone to pick up and hope they learned.
For survivor going against a baby killer, you can't exactly do that so I usually play normally and wait until at least the rest of the team is safe, then give them a kill if no one died

I tend to give the baby survivors the hard end of the stick (or glove in my case). I come from a place where you learn to deal with something by experiencing and evaluating it. Not to say that I haven't given a hatch or two it all depends on if their buddies decide to Blue Falcon out of the match or not.

It's a little different with baby killers. A pity kill probably just makes it feel worse. It's better if you let them actually chase you and then "screw up" a few times. Don't do anything so dumb they develop bad habits, but maybe run a loop inefficiently or bump into a rock every now and then, y'know? I do the same thing with baby survivors sometimes, I might pretend not to notice them every once in a while, or take a wrong turn. Nothing to get them to think they're incredible because I don't want to make them think they're actually invisible or anything, but just a little extra chance here or there.

No. They won't learn if they're treated like that.

I'm kinda on the same page. Sure you feel bad doing it but they gotta learn someday. If you let them assume everything will be handed to them, one day they'll grow up to be a liberal.

Unless I have a challenge or archive, I will let obvious baby survivors go. Survivor side, no way, I want my bloodpoints.

It's all down to personal preference. I like to give hatch to decent players who were let down by their team's actions (resulting in everyone being wiped out) or to survivors who amuse me. Or sometimes I'm just not feeling merciful and everyone's seeing the sharp end of a hook regardless. I think mercy-hatch is generally more common and accepted because sacrificing the 4th survivor doesn't reward a great deal more BP or Emblem points to the killer, while also allowing the final survivor to earn a few more points and possibly keep an item or complete a challenge/achievement (I've helped a dozen or so Davids get Adept like this).
For baby killers, I'll usually just finish the match and leave. I won't stay to taunt them or farm (whether for them or me), I'll just exit the trial and move on to another game. Whether or not they'd accept me as a "pity sacrifice", that's 5,000 free Survival BP I'd be throwing away, which is just too much for me to feel okay with the tradeoff.
But mercy is entirely at the whim of the winning player. Show as much or as little mercy as you like so long as you aren't a bully about it.

If they're toxic, no, I'll never give hatch or let them escape. If everyone played good, 90% of the time I will carry the last person to the hatch provided they don't wiggle. If I find the hatch before survivor, I'll kick it closed, and if I catch the survivor I will let them have the gate.

In all honesty, I would give them hatch but if we do that, they won't learn, so no mercy sometimes, depends of my mood 🙏

I don't give people free escapes either way. Personally I don't like when someone gives me a free win, I'd rather lose and have a normal match then get a free ride and not feel like I earned it, so that's what I do as a killer.

Honestly it depends on how you as a player want to play the game. If you are looking to be a really good survivor/killer and need to rank up then I would play the game as normal and show no mercy. If you are playing casually and are not to worried on your rank then I would definitely show a bit of mercy.
