Hatch,Moris,Keys need to be removed from the game, Also don't run Corrupt Intervention on Hag.
The hatch is a bad mechanic and removing it along with keys and moris will fix a lot of issues as explained in Space Coconut's Video:
Also stop running Corrupt Intervention on Hag, it's pointless.
It will also prevent survivors potentially robbing the Killer off their 4k

But do think those mechanics should be revisted

What is the last survivor supposed to do though? Replacing the hatch with something else would just make it work pretty much mechanically identical, I really think it’s unfair to remove the last survivor’s final chance to escape. There’s no way they are getting those gens done alone, and the exit gate won’t be possible 90% of the time either. I think hatch is okay. Whoever finds the hatch first wins basically.
however I don’t really like that the hatch is visible before there’s only one survivor left. You should have to possess a key to see it, otherwise it means when there’s two left, one usually distract’s the killer while the other looks for the hatch. Then one allows themself to die basically. It’s a little anti-climactic for the killer but I guess it’s not all bad considering one of the few things that’s nice about killer is the ability to stay to the end of the match every single time. And you get a kill. 3 out of 4 isn’t bad.

yeah or keep the hatch just make a long animation for opening the hatch like cleansing a totem, etc
it's just a suggestion
1 -
Theres a perk for that so you dont get LEFT BEHIND when your by yourself
1 -
yeah left behind helps if your last survivor as it reveals the hatches aura
i'm just wondering if it would be possible to add a hatch opening animation that is like cleansing a totem, etc
also removing moris would make it a bit fairer on the survivor side
2 -
Funny thing ive seen is people use a key to escape and the killer walks away and im left behind(no pun intended)and the hatch reopens lol
0 -
I could see a perk 1 day but it would be overkill as a survivors would use it always
0 -
Or they could add a 2:30-3:00 animation or 1:00 for opening the hatch like cleansing a totem and doing a gen that way the killer has a chance to prevent them from opening the hatch

yeah it feels a bit like you are robbed as killer by the hatch sometimes
1 -
yeah atleast the devs said they are revisiting mori's but i think for the health of the game moris should be deleted as they make it too easy for the Killer
2 -
1 time when i had a key,a killer let me live and i gave him the hatch like that as kindness
0 -
I play both sides,i thibk they are fine.sometimes i just wanna mori and not care about points lol
0 -
Yeah i want the game to be fairer for both sides and not one side being more stressful than the other but that might not be completely possible thats why changing the hatch or removing it or adding a long animation for opening it and deleting moris would aid the game as it'd make it less toxic for survivors

To be clear - if you get 3 kills and the last survivor gets hatch, you are not being robbed. It was 50/50 who would find it first.
I still don't like the hatch mechanic the way it's currently implemented (it shouldn't appear with a single gen left and 3 players alive like it does, for example), but you are in no way being robbed as a result of the last person getting hatch.

i know that i want the last survivor to be able to escape and not feel robbed its just annoying when the survivor dc's and the hatch spawns open when a survivor disconnects. the last survivor should still always be able to get the hatch just needs a longer animation or something.
0 -
yeah survivors should only be able to see it if they are running left behind or have a key or something,
i'm just suggesting and trying to make the game better :)

It really doesn't need a longer animation. Killer already has priority with their kicking the hatch closed animation over the hatch jump animation. The animation is fine, it's 50/50. Whoever finds it first deserves to win that match.

Tbh its a 3gen escape strat, long as someone has a key

He didn't really say to remove keys, he said have them to open the doors faster if hatch were to be removed.
I'm not against any of the ideas though, doors are always there from the beginning so it's not rng based when the survivor escapes.
Doors would have to be made fair for both sides when it does come to that.
Moris being gone and killers are only able to mori in the endgame sounds like a good idea it could make the endgame more tense.
0 -
Yeah turns it more into a horror game if mori's were removed or only able to be used during endgame also delete NoED as it rewards bad killers who cant pressure the gens.
Yeah the doors need to open faster if and when we remove the hatch.
Also doors will need to be made fair for both sides if they do fix that.
And if moris were only able to be used during endgame it'd become more tense.
It cant be completely truly scary this game, but it is advertised as a "horror" game.

I'd be ok removing the hatch.
If survivors weren't fast enough to repair all the gens and escape, so their job failed, the last survivor shouldn't get a free escape by potentially doing nothing.
Gen speeds are already fast, so no need to get free escapes.
0 -
Yeah exactly mate :)
gens without ruin is extremely quick

You know what it's called when you're the last survivor and there's 3 gens left? A loss. You lose.
Like when I'm the killer and all four survivors are healthy and they're all standing at the exit gate waiting to teabag when I show up. I don't get to magically kill one of them out of pity, I lost. I got my ass whooped. Boohoo.

What's with this weird pivot to Corrupt Intervention on Hag?
As someone who plays a lot of Hag (I don't 'main' any killer, but if I did it would be her), I'd say Corrupt is a great perk on her. I'm only a recent convert to the Corrupt bandwagon, but I've been seeing pretty clearly that the early game benefits you get pay out dividends for the entirety of the match.
You wanna know what perk is actually useless on Hag that a lot of people love to use? STBFL. I've never once gotten the value out of it that other killer mains say you're supposed to.

I find the irony of linking a SpaceCoconut video humorous. This is a guy who doesn't play survivor, and when he does, he's terrible at it. He's too biased to be even remotely taken seriously.

This
Like, I love watching his videos because we seem to have very different opinions on quite a few things. I love getting my view challenged. But the amount of bias in his opinions is unbelievable (absolutely no offence because of course everyone is going to be biased no matter how much you try not to be) and anything he suggests to make the survivor experience "better" ain't exactly reliable.

I love using Left Behind and taking a key. Let the killer close the hatch, and then when they go to patrol gates I gonfind the hatch and open it.

I don't know haha
