How much space does this game take up?

I have been having an issue lately where updates delete the game entirely without deleting the space it took up. So I have to manually delete the files which is a bit annoying but harmless. But what’s pissing me off is how when I try to re-download the game it’s says it’s gonna take around 40 gigabytes of space when in reality it steals 75 gigs. Where the ######### is it going? has anyone else had this issue?
