Anti camping idea
Let us get stacks and extra stacks of stake out while on hook. You can get all stacks while On hook, but if killer stays for too long and a certain distance then you can get extra stacks cause they camped. Doesn’t change much but a perk and stake out is one hell of a perk with full stacks.

I don't think buffing one perk is impactful enough to discourage camping. Or, I mean, at least not Stake Out.

Oh it’s just a dumb idea I got after getting camped. Like, only camping would make it work and it’s not much of a buff. It’s just normal unless you get camped and then you get stacks and whatnot. I know if a good camper gets you, then you wouldn’t get off hook and the stacks would be pointless. It’s just for if you DO get off then you got something to counter the lost time and BP from being camped.

The thing about punishing the killer for staying near the hook is because sometimes you have survivors who are super altruistic and are swarming hook or flat out abusing the mechanic.

Anti-Camping idea.
Make campers double pip. PUt them in the red ranks so they face sweat squads. Kill two birds with one stone.

Since almost everyone plays for bloodpoints, my solution would be:
if the killers stays within x meters of the hook and is not in a chase, he loses 10.000 bp every 10 seconds. Make it so it hurts those bastards.

If that got put in the game I would stop playing. I don’t camp, I main Pig who has no reason at all to camp, but sometimes you have to be near the hook because everyone wants to swoop in and get their BT save and be the big hero.
If this were implemented your choice as killer would be, Do I let the survivors get the free unhook right in my face with no punishment, or do I loose 10000 bp.
Sure, it would probably work to stop people from camping, but it would make survivor hook swarming even worse because you literally can’t do anything about it.

Lets say survivor hide around the hook and you know it you dont want to give a free save best case you want to trade but the survivor take their time the killer just lost 10 000 bp and right now the killer have no reason to continue the game so they DC good job by adding a huge penality you just increase the amount of DC

Yeah, I know the fly swatter simulated too well. I think they could tweak it so if a surv is close they don’t lose bp or give stacks of stake out. If they can tell if killer is close then they can tell surv. You get assistant points.
I think they already do that but not to suck a degree. I just think camping should be punished more so people get the idea to not do it if they want something valuable.

You can punish camping yourself and prevent campers from getting BP by simply rushing gens and escaping. Of course, this doesn't usually allow you to get free unhooks, but if your goal is to punish campers...

Yeah, but it’s always a gamble. You can’t tell if they’re camping unless kindred. There’s gonna be someone who checks. At least one. I think it should just punish them more if the person getting camped gets saved. What’re the chances dole gets saved against a canker AND they have stake out. P slim.

Tbh, kindred if a fuckinh great perk, but I don’t take it bc I worry about stealthy killers and they don’t show much they’ll show them there but if they activate stealth then it’s gamble again.

The survivor on hook should be signaling if they’re being camped.

Yeah, but you never know if it’s camping or they want to get saved. Having to check wastes time.
