Cross progression

I'll be moving to PC platform soon from ps4.. Is it possible having my progress there.? How about my purchases? Cause I put lots of money and time in the game. If no, will it be a thing soon?

I believe they announced that cross progression from PS4 wasn't possible and they don't know if it will. I was so disappointed too. 😑😑😑

No progress, purchases, DLC, anything. They'll continue negotiations but it's not guaranteed, or even particularly likely. Don't get your hopes up.

Nothing officially confirmed yet. So for the moment you won't be able to transfer any purchase or save progression to your PC version.

They have confirmed Cross Progression for PC, Google Stadia and Nintendo Switch coming sometime in September. As for Xbox and PS4, I'm sure it will come eventually but nothing at the moment has been confirmed.

If it gets save progression, you wouldn't lose access to things like unlocked trainable perks or Most cosmetics (outside of ones only available on one of the platforms because of license issues) as long as you bought each of the dlc on the other platform that you want access to including to their perks. That's how it works with cross platform progression and same account, even with final fantasy mmos you still had to buy a separate license and the expansions again between pc & playstation but could add the license for the other platform onto the same service account and use the same characters and progress them through either platform.

You do need to buy the game and expansions again on the other platform to mention that again, it's the way things are done usually which is a platform rather than developer or publisher issue. Imagine if you let people bring their friends and their playstations over to your house to hook them up together using your internet and electricity to lan up with each other. Sure, they paid for it and it's theirs... but to play at theirown house on their own network, not on yours at your expense. I kind of look at it that way, each platform wants a piece of the pie, and that pie would be a portion of the resale of the license on their own platform.

To be safe on what to expect, always expect to have to buy a game and dlcs again even if it has cross platform progression. There are exceptions, but they're generally in ftp games and not all of them have done it either even. Fartnite is one exception, where I could access my 'save the world' (the Real fortnite) characters and unlocks on my ps4pro after the unannounced eac insertion to that game was giving me issues with it and I stopped playing it until it landed on ps4. On ps4 I was able to pick it right back up, but, that will not Usually be the case. Most of the time, you will be paying for things again even if you use the same account between platforms.
