I need to submit a video to prove my report
I need to send a video to prove the report I made in game but it keeps saying
'The upload took too long, connection was lost'
What do I do I really need to send it the I was farmed and the game was held hostage for 15 minutes from a Survivor and Killer working together.

looks like they got away with it. Don't expect much from DBD customer service, they don't really actively seek out and investigate cheating / farming / etc.
You'll find that kind of thing is pretty common in this game because the rules aren't actively enforced and you have to record every second of your game to even have a chance of getting something done about it.

This is outright false. Legitimate reports with all the required evidence are taken very seriously by BHVR.

keyword is required evidence. They don't actively investigate on their own, you have to do their work for them. So if you're not recording every second you are playing DBD, cheaters walk free. That's why there are so many cheaters in this game in the first place, because the requirements to report someone are so high that the vast majority of the playerbase doesn't even try.

Upload the video to YouTube. Then include the link to video with your support ticket. Works very well when you do it this way.

I agree that the reporting system could be better, but to say they don't investigate is, like @TheClownIsKing said, outright false. Who do you think watches the videos players send in?

Upload the video to streamable and post the link. This is how I always do it and my reports get processed with no issues.

Yes, as the others have said uploading to somewhere like youtube and putting the link on the report works well - it's just that the file is too big for the helpdesk basically I believe.
Also, with regards to the people that think reports are not taken seriously and that we don't actively ban, that's completely false..we have a team of ACM's to handle this and this specifically. However, a lot of people do report things that are not actually bannable in game, which is why they then think that reports are not actioned, plus a lot of things result in a temporary game ban, which doesn't show on the profile of the person you've reported.
