Desperate Measures and Self-Care?
Does the increased healing action effect self-care?

It should presuming that the perk's wording is accurate. I haven't had the chance to test it myself though because the dlc still isn't available on the ps store.

Yes. It affects all healing speeds.

Good to know! Thanks. 😊

I thinking about using Botany + DM + SC for fast heals.

just understand that DM only increases healings speeds when OTHER survivors are injured, dying, or hooked.
so if you’re the ONLY one injured while self caring, DM won’t provide bonus healing speed to you.
There would need to be other survivors injured, dying, or hooked while you’re self healing.

I'm very interested in using this with botany knowledge could you finally have speedy self care?

I thought it also included you as when I was injured and opening an exit gate the perk was lit up. But the bar wasn’t gold, so maybe it doesn’t. It could still come in handy as I like SC with BK anyway, so this is just a bonus.

I'm going to be using the combo along with soul guard to be tanking hits and keep my team from going down.
Oh great, the killer's plague again isn't it?

Perhaps you’re right. I didn’t think it included your own injuries.
Jesus, so up to 56% increase to healing and unhooking speeds.... that’s crazy.

If it does count yourself and you’re running Botany Knowledge as well, you’ll be able to get as high as 89% healing speed. If it doesn’t count yourself, the highest is 75%, which is still great.
