Nintendo only bug?
any time i play as killer any action to do with the r button does not work and its not my controller sice i tried it with another game i dont know why it is happening

Same here on the switch. I just read a post on this bug reporting forum titled “cant hook surv sometimes” and ppl on other platforms are having similar issues. This one guy broke it down really well i will try to rephrase. Any Killer action that “suctions” the killer in place such as Hooking or vaulting are the actions that are being affected by the bug. So essentially you have to walk up to something in front and centered to trigger the action to work. Its a real pain. I just had 2 survivors escape bc of it

Don't worry, it's not only on switch, everyone is having the same issue
