Decisive Strike Stun has been nerfed unintentionally?
Used DS after the patch and after I have been released from the killers grasp I take 3/4 steps and they've already recovered and swinging instead of being stunned for the usual 5 seconds even though the text hasn't changed and I see nothing in the notes talking about DS nerfs. The killers weren't using anything that nerfs stun durations, pallets etc was usual but DS they recovered instantly.

Maybe it got bugged and they are treated as a pallet stun.

That happened to me also, I was playing freddy and the stun was very minimal, maybe because servers are very laggy now? Idk

Yeah, I used it on a Pig early today and she was right behind me in no time. It's like the old Enduring all over again.

Apparently a Dev confirmed on Discord that it is bugged (I dont have any proof, someone else wrote it on the Forums).
I guess we will see quite a lot of tunneling the next days. :S

I'm giving it 2 days to be fixed. Along with undying getting nerfed.

Dont worry in 2 day DS will be fix, hex undying will be nerf and the dev wont touch the hook bug

Yes because every survivor uses DS as a crutch and not because without an obsession they'll be tunneled relentlessly by a lot of killers. Particularly solo.

The issue with that statement is, that doesn't happen. I've got more hours in this game than most (over 4k hours now), and tunneling *isn't that common*, and a lot of what people call tunneling is just them doing stupid ######### and getting punished for it. Like safe unhooks, or BT body blocks etc.
The narrative of "tunneling is so common hur durrrr" is horse #########. What isn't horse ######### is those who rely on DS are usually the first ones to die regardless.

Well lucky you, unfortunately my experience differs greatly. When there isn't an obsession the killer will abandon chases, even if the person he's chasing is injured, to return to the hook and tunnel someone. That's tunneling, focusing on one person until they die, and from my own personal experience it's happened every game without an obsession within the past 4 months (although there aren't many games like that because after the first 6 times I got sick and tired so I'll always have an obsession perk in my loadout, even if it isn't ds).

As much as I want DS nerfed solo survivors do need it to make up for teammates not running BT. Matchmaking isn't good right now and solos need that safety net unless everyone in that match is a good survivor, however you can't guarantee that.
If it was just slightly nerfed id be fine.

As a killer I also noticed it was like 3 seconds so i wasn't complaining. But seeing as I'm playing Laurie next it doesn't sounds hopeful using DS..

DS needs more than a "slight nerf". It needs conditions. People say "NOED rewards bad plays, and should be a token perk". So does, and should DS.

Even if that was happening to you often - you do have all the resources you need to, in theory, never get caught. Not saying that's a solution, but it's as outlandish as you saying tunneling is somehow happening to you every game. Perhaps you're doing something to get tunneled. 99% of the time when I see someone tunnel, it's either Hag (in which case, she's literally built for that), or a stupid play was made.

Not the change I wanted to DS, but I'll take it for now since apparently I tunnel the whole team at the same time lol. Enjoy it while it last.
On a side note, it makes me sad I'm relieved this perk is bugged with how unhealthy it is, really need official changes for it already.

I mean, if playing as Claudette because I prefer hiding than looping (yet still last longer than most of my teammates in a chase) is reason to be tunneled then I guess that's what happens. That, or I just seem to face all of the scumbags.
Though I admit I can't speak for the past month, since I haven't touched survivor except for rift challenges. I hate the role at the moment.

don't worry they always fix bugs that are inconvenient for survivors by the end of the week or next tuesday.
