I haven't hated playing a Killer as much as The Blight
What was BHVR thinking? If you are an elite Killer like some of the streamers with incredible map knowledge, I see how he might be okay. But for the average Killer, he is is ridiculously difficult to play. I don't know if the devs have noticed, but there is a major shortage of Killers. My queue for survivor is 2-4 minutes on a good day and my killer queues are instant, that is with cross-play. Glad I only used shards on this debacle of a Killer.

He is a niche killer and i am pretty much sick of it. They should release a killer, that is opressive like Freddy and easy to play. We allready have 3/4 of killers that are weak.

Considering the forced recovery animation after each rush no matter whether you hit someone or not (the injection or the wipe, both are basically the same), the difficulty of landing hits unless the survivor just hasn't figure out "move left or right sharply" or is in a really vulnerable position to begin with, the long wait for the red bar to fill back up, the token management, all for a single health state, maybe he should be able to turn better during his lunge? Also, maybe the game in general just needs an option to turn off aim dressing, because that [BAD WORD] is making me more and more mad every day I play. It's so disorienting and causes so many missed hits when survivors are aware of how to screw with it.
I have a mouse, these are melee attacks, I do not need you to [BAD WORD] aim for me. The entire point of the game is me getting close and doing the aiming. Hilariously, the ranged killers don't have aim dressing because I guess they know it would make them virtually unplayable. At least with melee it usually doesn't bone you. Having Oni's overhead attack getting aim dressed 150 degrees in a random direction has actually caused me to completely lose people a few times, let alone all the times it forces me to attack a wall for some godforsaken reason.
What a terrible system.

I have to agree that legion & clown being the 'hard mode' killers has now been replaced by blight. I can see him being a really fun killer but his learning curve needs to be amended by amping up his powers.

I’ve never liked using a killer as much as I don’t like using Blight. He’s frustrating, finicky, disorientating, and hitting survivors takes a miracle, a bribe, and selling yourself for sex.
I’d sooner master Nurse on PS4.

I'm gonna say it: Blight might be one of my favourite killers. Easily in my top 3.
3 -
Honestly with a bit of work you will get the hang of him he is actually quite strong and very fun to play once you do

Amen. The first time I ricocheted off of 4 walls and then threw a syringe into a car's radiator I knew it was love. This was the first killer I've been truly hyped for since OG Freddy. I foresee myself boink-boink-smacking survivors for a good long while to come.
He's not even as difficult as people have been saying, tbh. He just requires... patience.

This sounds like bait.... I can't tell.

Well some people do like goofy stuff. I don't thus have no desire to even test the killer. I do not want to be a pinball.

I play nurse both on Xbox and PC. I've missed so many hits thanks to aim dressing.

Nah man, it's all heartfelt.
I'm a little fed up with people ragging on a higher-skill cap killer on LITERALLY his first day. It takes time for us to figure this stuff out. We all need to be a little more patient.
That said I've had nothing but fun with Blight, even when I lost matches. He's clearly not as weak as people say - even if you don't use his power at all he's still a 4.6 m/s killer. You can get boink-boink hits at more places than you might think, and it just feels oh-so-satisfying to hit someone after boinking off of 4 walls first. He doesn't have an Oni-like flick but he can rotate up to 90 degrees before lunging, so anticipating your opponents movements can get you some down-low DIRTY hits. Like Legion (and Billy and Huntress and Bubba and... most killers) using his power is not always APPROPRIATE, so the initial hurdle is to figure out where using his power is appropriate and where it's not. This... takes... time. So let's all cool down with the hate.

Still not a true gen rush ^^ Surv can complete 5 gens in 160sec (without perks and addons). So if your game is over in under 3-4 mins its pretty much a gen rush.

Was hard to tell when you mentioned OG Freddy. It seemed like you were joking.

Blight is absolutely one of, if not the most fun killer for me. Love playing as and against him. He is extremely hard to play properly but when you get the hang of it you'll have a blast with him

Pyramid Head is extremely oppressive and not very difficult.

Being hyped for OG Freddy was more about having been a die-hard Nightmare on Elm Street fanatic than anything else. Old school Freddy was pretty fun to play, but he admittedly came with a laundry list of weaknesses.
1 -
Really that's how your queues are? Feels the complete opposite for me.

My brain hurts
Even though you're right about Freddy. Takes no skill :)

They still depend on platform in relation to crossplay on or off, region and time of day you are playing but noone makes the effort to give this additional information while making their queue times an argument on this forum.

I'm in the same boat. Used shards because I wouldn't pay actual money for this killer. Don't get me wrong, he is a lot of fun, but the high skill-cap combined with very awkward control on console just makes it so damn difficult for a single health state. I don't even struggle this hard with Billy or Oni and I'm not that great with them. Most times I'll try leathal rush the survivors and just fly right on by while the hit animation continues to finish itself. It feels like you need a pinpoint accuracy to even touch them. Add-ons help of course, but I shouldn't need to use Add-ons to help me. Add-ons are supposed to be there to boost my power, not crutch me along because I can't hit someone. I'll keep practicing him a little more but so far, I Feel this is another killer I'll soon forget about and never use again.

I'm pretty shocked at the hate he is getting. It took me a bit to get use to him. I went from rank 1 to rank 3 trying to learn to play him but am now back to rank 1. I have not had this much fun playing a killer since I first started playing the game 3 years ago. Love him.

I'd rather have killers that have a higher skill cap, but are also be very strong when played well. Which I believe is the case with The Blight. The only thing he might need is better turning for his lethal rush lunge.

Not even downloaded the new chapter, That's how much I care :)

“Gen rush” = “I’m still learning how to play killer”
fixed

Nurse does feel easy to use them him.

The killer has been out for one day. Calm down.

I think Blight is a lot of fun. 🙂 I had no problem using his Rush ability, the trick is after a bounce just taking a moment to make sure you sidestep and turn in the direction you want to go before hitting the button ti charge again. He moves as fast as Billy’s chainsaw but can turn 90 degrees at walls, how cool is that? 😄
In fact the one thing I do have a problem dealing with is his low point of view makes it really hard to see through grass. I lost count of how many times I lost survivors while chasing them through a patch of grass. It’s like having little patches of corn blindness on every outdoor map. 🙁

Three achievements? There is his adept and the speed kills one. What is the third?
Are you referring to the I see you one where you down 30 exposed survivors? You can do that with any killer. I am using my good 'ol reliable Daddy Myers for it.

This is one of the best killers theyve added imo. maybe not strong-wise, but hes the most fun killer ive played in a while and hes great to go against.

New killers aren't always for everyone. The main point of "maining" a killer is finding a killer, or group of killers, that you enjoy playing and sticking with them.

At least his playstyle is original, if anything. I'd never touch him myself.

I'll just leave this small picture here.

I agree completely. He is a blast to play as and against.
2 -
I just unlocked him for the perks.
Never really played him at the PTB, so yesterday I played him to see if I liked him or not.
What I believed, was true: I didn't like him, and he was garbage.

I don'T even like Billy or Oni with their clumsy steering, that killer is even a bigger nightmare to play.

You’re not being clever.
Are you looking to get a ban from the mods?

This killer with certain addons is insanely broken lmao.
0 -
Well that's of course completely fine, I'm not very good with Billy either, but in that case that doesn't mean that the killer is bad or anything.

Oh my god thank you for existing. Idk what half of the people on here are smoking, maybe they've played far too much spirit and Freddy. It's ok to dislike Blight but Jesus people are really out here saying he's as bad as Legion and harder to learn than Nurse lmao. I've not played much killer for nearly 2/3 months and I've only started to play a lot recently and I'm not having trouble with him at all he's so fun.
